Things we got for Christmas

Getting a lot of presents isn't disgusting.

Having a smug, spoilt attitude is though. I'm grateful for what I've got, and have been in previous years, which has been a large amount. Anyone who is disgusted at people who get a lot of presents are either jealous or are just scrooges. And anyone who is not satisfied with what they get for Christmas is spoilt.

Main thing was my kayaking custom helmet (for my massive head)

Also got a christmas cake off my gran (nom!), a hat (that fits! :o), a sleeping bag, thermals, pyjamas and socks :)

Bugger all, that's what I got.

But it's all good as I got to give, and that's the best gift of all. :)

Monies
Blurays
Bag for Thailand
Thick aberdeen surviving socks
Aberdeen survival gloves
Food and sweets
Shirts
Tshirts

And the gf had something else unwrapped, and I'm pretty sure It's under her dress. Heading over to Railay East beach soon dir food, drinks and maybe even watch some Thai men batter each other in a ring in a bar :D

New watch and a heated vest for winter on the motorbike, some socks, a t-shirt, some sweets and a remote control helicopter.

Well chuffed :)

Still got to open a couple at the mrs later.

As you get older you get less, much im much more appreciative of it.

I am no Scrooge but this thread is just fills me with disgust. The amount some people have spent/have had spent on them is just mind blowing. I have had a hamper off my parents, filled with sweets, meat, cheeses etc and I am so chuffed with it. I mean I noticed a coat earlier the thread for £500...

Think of those who cannot even afford a decent dinner today or who have no family to spend it with.

Other than the guy who got the golf I don't think anyone here has been overly spoilt, seen plenty of posts from you about shopping sprees etc, I'm sure a lot of parents would buy their kid a decent car if they could afford too.

I don't care about what people get for Christmas. If someone has the money to shell out on expensive presents, like a Macbook, then fair play. Just like my parents, they always spend way too much on me. Consoles, TVs etc, all that stuff. It's the fact that he isn't happy with that and wants more. He's obviously young, as when you grow up and mature, you soon realise that Christmas isn't about receiving. It's about meeting up with family, good food, drinking, banter and everyone coming together.

I was more excited about seeing my family open what I bought them, then opening what they bought me.

If you read the posts instead of being an absolute idiot about the situation, I clearly said I didn't ask for any of it and It was sarcasm.

Some of you have got really nice gifts

I got more than last year :)

This year I got:
A lens mug (was one of my wants)
lounging trousers and shorts
An M & S Watch
Some M&S EDT
Polish chocolates (alcoholic ones I think)
Chocolate santa with mug which shows a pic when hot it has a hot drink
Some shower gel and deodorant gift packs
Plus several boxes of chocolates from several work clients

Hope your're all enjoying your Christmas so far!

I've been watching the telly this morning and will probably go to slay some folks and dragons in a mo (in Skyrim :D)
