Things we got for Christmas

Had all the family down this christmas as always, got a LG LED 24" monitor, Steve Job's auto-biography, Senna and the Inbetweeners movie on DVD, Blackadder the Third on DVD, The Top 10 of Everything 2012 (similar to the Guinness Book of World Records) and loads of choc!!!

Got money so I can buy a new camera/pc monitor. Looking at upgrading to a 22" monitor and found a camera for £120 that ide like. Im in to web design and will mainly use it for websites so I don't need a £300 + camera

I actually agree with the Muslims in this case, and with a Christian girl I once spoke to who was fully against and hated the commercialized non religious practice of Christmas.

People who celebrate christmas as a gift giving or any other non christian celebration are ignorant tools.

Oh stop being such a 'tard. Different people celebrate christmas for different reasons. For me it's about seeing family, celebrating with them and exchanging gifts with each other. For others they may want to celebrate their religious beliefs, that's up to them.

Just because you have an opinion on it, changes nothing about how others choose to spend their time, nor should it.

Ooooooooooooooo

nGHGH

GlaDOS?

Got a 17-85 IS USM lens for my 500D, see how the coming year pans out pictures wise!

A shirt too and a case for my phone - didn't like the pouch as it dampens the speaker too much when in my pocket!

For Christmas I've had a good hangover...

Also, load of "Eddie Stobart" stuff - key rings, mugs and a t-shirt with my own truck on it.....

FFS! I work for them, somehow my family seems to think this means I love them! my cousin even got me the TV Series DVD box set! (I suppose he does not quite appreciate that I know the "as NOT seen on TV" side of ESL a tad better?

I'll be glad when I leave in January, perhaps for my birthday I won't get something job related! :o :D

What's the deal with Beats headphones? Lots of people getting them, but I must admit I've never paid much attention to them (I'm normally just drawn to Sennies automatically).

They good stuff? Primarily for bassy music or good all-rounders?

The Pro's are good enough for dance and Hiphop in my opinion....the others are a bit overpriced.

Wow Christmas is not what i expected, seems like a lot of waste and greed.

I thought it was Church, a few gifts for the kids, enjoying family company and helping the poor.

Isnt this a time to think about the poor, people less fortuanate. Appears a lot of folk are just interested in swapping gifts with each other, with no meaning what so ever.

On Eid last year every single adult had to give £80-£100 each to charity for food or buy a lamb personally and share it out to the poor. Even on little Eid we have to fast for 30 days prior, so we know how it feels for the poor with no to little food.

Its a shame, Christmas isnt what it once used to be.
