So far two cook books from a friend at work.... Oh and pruney fingers from prepping all the veg.

Will be celebrating more on 30 th when parents get back from visting sis in inda

Best present of all, everything else is just inanimate objects with no real value.

I got nothing myself but 5 & bonus on lotto so there :D

Not opened a thing yet this morning, waiting for my sister and her bloke to arrive then we'll open our gift then. No idea what I've got, I didn't ask for anything, so will be totally surprised by what I get I reckon :)

I did buy myself some Sennheiser HD 558's and a Fiio E9 Amp to go with them this month as an xmas present for myself, I think I'll go deaf if I continue to use them at the volumes I currently am !
 
The main ones -
Staples Mayfair chair to replace the one that has fallen apart.
Ultrafire C6 LED torch.
Guinness Book Of Records height chart so I can measure people when they come through the door and compare them with how high a hamster jumped or something.
 
I got nothing :D well, few bars of chocolate. I dont like christmas. Before last christmas i used to get spoiled and it made me feel guilty.
I can share what i got my parents though. Got my dad a 5L bottle of Wd40 and a 10L bottle of paraffin (we alway run out of the stuff and he said he would prefer that for a present because he would actually use it) and i got my mum 2 DS games and a westlife greatest hits CD.
 
Oh well, not quite what I was hoping...

My Amazon list had every single part I wanted for my X79 build along with a month of very strong hints to my beloved...

So epic fail as it means that Im a couple of hundred short for my build so can't order the whole lot today.
Apparently she didn't want to spend any money on a whole load of stuff when she didn't understand what it does.
She is an expert on CPU cooling apparently :p

now Im in a tech quandry, do I wait until Jan 20th for the C2 stepping, or order what I can now and the rest in Feb..
Not sure I could bear having half the bits I need knocking around the house for a build but not being able to put anything together - that would be pure torture.
Was hoping to spend the holiday putting a build together - oh well, stronger hints needed next time...
 
I got some seinheisser 515 headphones which I wanted and some random clothes + food. My aunty got me white wine and I don't even drink so the gf will be having that lol. My parents got me a none stick baking tray...

Yes you read that right lol. Was a joke present because my housemate destroyed mine due to being a dosey bint so they thought it would be useful and amusing at the same time. I thought it was a bloody picture frame when I was unwrapping it!

The gf is giving me her pressie when she gets back just after new year :)

The main one is the Iiyama Prolite 27" Monitor which is going straight on the wall. :D On the chair is some car seat covers, the rest you can see.
Slipper socks... I'm ageing rapidly at just 21. :eek:
