Teabag out. How do you know how much cup space you have with the weight of a teabag in?! Plus, all that milk gets absorbed into the damn teabag too, even if you squeeze against to cup.

Teabag in when pouring milk is illegal.

Milk After you take the tea bag out!!!! i make good cups of tea and i put milk after teabag is out. I cant stand people who go, tea bag, milk, water then mix :/ its just wrong!

This poll needs the option of

"Milk in before teabag"

My housemate used to make tea like this. If you can call it tea. The milk blocks the pores of the teabag, rendering it little more than a floating sack in a cup of water. Horrible, horrible tea. :(

General knowledge, especially where famous people are from. TBH I really don't care. But it seems I should know. People consider it important these days

As for instant coffee. If you have milk, that goes in before the water. You then stir it to dissolve the coffee. You'll get a light and fluffy coffee doing it that way.

However it should be black..

Edit - people where talking about tea.
Yep bag out before milk.

Teabag out before milk and sugar in last to get the flavour around it instead of melting it all away when you put the hot water in.

I can't use an iron without putting more creases in my clothes.

Yes you take the teabag out BEFORE putting in the milk. I have mastered the art of making cups of tea over the past 5 years so don't even question me.

Only learnt this recently. It apparently "burns the coffee" if you put hot water straight on to the granules. You can certainly taste the difference.

Yep, always do this for white coffee, but coffee isn't made with boiling water, it should be cooler, so let the kettle settle for a few minutes before pouring.

As for tea, a Tea Pot is the best way to make it, two bags for the pot, pour on boiling water, leave for 5 minutes, and give it a stir, pour tea into mug/cup and add milk and sugar to taste. Et Voila!

If its a tea bag in mug affair, then its sugar if you have it with the bag in the mug, add water, leave for a few minutes, stir and add milk to get it the right colour/strength, then squeeze the life out of the bag and serve with a packet of hob nobs.
