Think i my of been scammed

I'm sure your card is fine.

Although two things to remember!
1) No matter what the seller says, you are always entitled to return an item, if not the correct quality stated etc. It's a basic Ebay rule.

2) If you had been scammed just contact ebay, they are always on the buyers side.

3) If its gone fubar, just cancel your account and dont buy :)

It not my account. Dont think he would be to pleased if it gets canceled.

WILL IT TELL ME IN THE START UP WEATHER IT A SAPPHIRE.
How can you tell its true. have i payed to much for it if it is a normal radeon

Lol. Whats a normal radeon?

If it works, keep the card. There is nothing bad going on here.

If you that badly want a sapphire bios and it doesn't have one, you can flash it. I don't see why Sapphire should command a premium over oem cards unless you are buying it new.

Yes, reference cards are all the same.

Close but no cigar. ATI design and produce the GPU (4870X2). They brand it (Radeon 4870X2) then their board partners (Sapphire, HIS, XFX etc) package it up at different clock speeds, different accessories and warranties.

The price you paid is almost a steal even for an OEM Radeon if its in good condition and as new as the seller claims... your not getting ripped off aslong as the card works. Infact the card itself looks to be in pristine condition and all the extras in teh box... only the box itself has a little wear in it.

Also, advise the seller to send it with royal mail special delivery unless, he wants to lose a lot money if it gets lost. If he wants you to pay more, tell him to send it 1st class then as listed.

I'm guessing the OP asked the question (to the seller before listing ended) about it being a Saphire- he said it was. Can't see how ebay would side with the seller in this case if it isn't a Saphire.

Just read all the questions and answers- What a good advert for not buying and selling this type of thing on ebay!

Two 4870x2's scale like crap.
I'd have taken the 5850 any day of the week over a 4870x2..

Or a 5870., oh wait I already did.

Bah, the 4870X2 is on top of the 5870 in most benchmarks you'll find, hence why ATI made it EOL just before the 5800 series was released.
