Think i my of been scammed

Bah, the 4870X2 is on top of the 5870 in most benchmarks you'll find, hence why ATI made it EOL just before the 5800 series was released.

The 5870 overclocks very well, equalling in 20% real world gains (Tested by myself and the Crysis time demo).

DX 11, and I'm only only beta drivers..

5870 > 4870x2. Nuff said.

Undoubtedly if I was given a choice between both, I'd take a 5870. But if I had a 4870X2 would I upgrade to a 5870, answer is no.

Too early to reap the benefits of DX11, 4870X2 can be picked up pretty cheap second hand too, around £140~

Whilst he was not 100% about the cards performance I still agree with him.

?. Not sure who that's directed to.

My point was, my overclocked 5870 gained 20% FPS in the Crysis timed demo, over a stock 5870..

That puts it on level pegging/better, and it's only on Beta drivers..

It'll only improve with performance.

Sorry but you will find that quite a lot on here, some people cant help them selves but to be sarcastic. Shame really

If someone's buying such a high-end card as a 4870x2, you expect them to know SIMPLE things..

One thing that's been bugging me. Why can we overclock cpu massively. But not gpu's

I took my GPU core from 850 to 1050.. I think that's pretty massive.

I think he thinks because he didnt know what he does now. he probable made a mistake. Anyway we all have to lean some how. were all here to help.

You must not link to competitors

that cooler is not for the sapphire edition it is for the oem version.

Just try to ignore the trolls, there are some helpful people here

£14.00 Royal Mail 1st Class Standard, milking postage much! Hell that could have been posted via Special Delivery™ Next Day £8.65 :p

Looks ok to me, what's the fuss ?

The card is different to the 2x sapphire 4870x2's that are in his dads machine and his brothers machine is what confused him, they have the sapphire woman picture on them and this card doesn't. Its easy for someone with not much experience to assume he may not be receiving an actual sapphire card because this card is different to there's.
