Think i my of been scammed

I have not tried that msi afterburn software yet. i'll give that a go.
that link you gave me sounds like something that will exceed the current limit stated in CCC for overclocking?! no much point really i can't get it past 900 stable in games.

I have to say that temp looks really nice, is it water cooled? besides power consumtion, they also worked on temps.

You'll have to overvolt it to get higher stable clocks.

And all my PC's aircooled.

"it's just it annoys me when people spend on high end equipment, but have limited knowledge."

Thats what you said and i can't see any reason why but if it does so much then maybe your better off not commenting in threads where you feel a person matches that. Anyway op has his answer so doesn't matter anymore i spose just not nice when people are ripped on this forum or any forum because they are in the process of learning.

My point was. If you don't know much, why just buy big when you haven't got much of an inkling into components themselves?

bottlenecking, think of a motorway, it goes to a single lane what happens to the traffic ?

in this case say the cpu is the bottleneck basicly the card gets all its stuff sorted and done than its sitting there waiting for more data, cos the cpu is not fast enough

i was looking at the Corsair HX 650W so i can take it with me though my builds. can i run two 4870x2 (Why are they not good in crossfirex)
Will be using a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler

4870x2's in general, scale rather badly..

In 3dMark 06, two 4870x2's got 2k more than my 4870x2 rig... (They were both on PCI-E 2.0 16x lanes running at 16X on a 790FX, same CPU, though his was higher clocked)

And a 650W Corsair won't power two 4870x2's.
It'd power two 5850's though.

No that psu won't be enough for 2x 4870x2. 1 x 4870x2 should be enough for you to run most games maxed out anyway.
