Think i my of been scammed

With his dad and brother both having x2's he had his own experience of playing games using an x2. He knew what he wanted but was not sure if the ebay auction was legit so he asked on here. He now has his answer so this thread should be over.

He knew what the card can do and nothing else..

That doesn't strike me as knowing enough to make a purchase. the OP could be using an AGP port, a P4 with PCI-E 1.1 for all we know.

Martini you don't like people with limited knowledge having highish end components why exactly and are you saying you started out with total crap till you knew exactly what you were doing because i sure as hell didn't i learnt as i went along and made plenty of mistakes like most i know nothing wrong with it at all.

Missed my point...

"it's just it annoys me when people spend on high end equipment, but have limited knowledge."

Thats what you said and i can't see any reason why but if it does so much then maybe your better off not commenting in threads where you feel a person matches that. Anyway op has his answer so doesn't matter anymore i spose just not nice when people are ripped on this forum or any forum because they are in the process of learning.

Is high end hardware like having a super car ?

yeah I got the expirance point, but he does have the right to own high end stuff if he needs it, high end hardware is not like you just passed your driving test yet you got a enzo or something

I used the MSI tool, and I'm using a 5870, cba changing my sig. And yeah, it was stable, at 1070MHZ, I could only get two runs in Crysis before crash

I have not tried that msi afterburn software yet. i'll give that a go.
that link you gave me sounds like something that will exceed the current limit stated in CCC for overclocking?! no much point really i can't get it past 900 stable in games.

I have to say that temp looks really nice, is it water cooled? besides power consumtion, they also worked on temps.

This would have been more helpful.

What PSU are you running btw? The 4870x2 requires quite a beefy PSU.
