First time cooking Christmas dinner myself yesterday, which turned out pretty well, despite the fact that thanks to my wife, it escalated rapidly from being for 3 people, to 11 when she decided to invite pretty much her whole family!
But, it’s out of the way now, so I can relax a bit until I have to fly out join my next ship for 3 months in Thailand, which will be on the 4th January. Just debating with the Mrs when to break our news to the family that we’re expecting (the digital pregnancy test which is allegedly 97% accurate came back yesterday that she’s 3-4 weeks down the line). She’d like to do it before I go, but it’ll obviously still be early days.
