Just sent a text to an old climbing buddy:

"Hi mate, how are you doing? Long time no speak. Odd request mate - will you do Hope with me sometime, when the hullabaloo allows and I've lost a few donuts? I'd really appreciate it. Have considered just doing it but probably not wise."

I haven't climbed for getting on for 20 years. Should be fun.

Yea, he's a good bloke. He doesn't know of my recent troubles and I'm going to keep it that way, at least until after our climbing day. I want to keep that as pure as I can, just like the old days.

Crikey, apparently someone got murdered last night about 10 mins up the road from me

So many conflicting stories though. No official statement from police yet but people reported hearing a woman screaming.

@Bouton Aide ...one of the kids just came over to cook dinner tonight. That'll be my first next challenge - the inevitable half-a-plate of rabbit food served with the protein.

Oops, I just got called to eat it. Though I think she mentioned nachos.
