Just done a full on clean of the house, took everything out the cupboards, off the shoe rack, moved the sofa etc.... I'm talking a beast of a tidy up.. Even the missus came downstairs like  what are you doing and why? :p

My answer, I'm bored :p

New power supply for the cross trainer delivered! :D......

...and so today my back throws in the towel. I went wild by lifting a small plate from the sink and onto the dish drainer. It feels like destiny that I’m not supposed to use this thing.

There is a row of little round coloured faces with no-explained meaning under the post box when you press on the head circle in the menu bar. Very confusing.

I was meant to be back to work today but furlough got extended for another 2 weeks. Will have been off work for 5 weeks by the end of it, will certainly be strange going back to work. Was getting used to all the spare time to do some hobbies etc lol :o:D

Got to join a work call at 3pm though....expected to last 2 hours... booo lol. Hope it doesn't go over as the sun is finally shining again so would be good to go for a long overdue walk :)

It's like coming back after a LONG holiday. I've been back 2 weeks now, I too have missed all the free time too, mostly the lie in.

My top tip, having been WFH since early March and loads of bloody calls/meetings: exercise.

Any call where I'm not speaking at all, or only have one slot, I keep weights on the desk. Breaks up the duration of sitting, and gets me some free exercise. If I get bored or tired of weights I go do some lunges or squats.

If it wasn't for boring phone calls I wouldn't get much exercise at all, am lazy :D

I haven't been lucky enough to have a lie in. My cats see to that lol. Latest they've let me sleep till was this morning when I woke at 7.15 :o

That's a good idea. I've been trying to go for a quick half hour walk around the park when the weather has been good. The last few days it's not been great so I haven't been.

Hasn't helped that my energy seemed to completely drop. I think I tried to do so much in my first 2 weeks off that by last week my body was just saying "nope, can't do anymore" lol

ive been nipping to the coast ,theres a hill behind the pub on the coast path ,with almost vertical steps (well it feels that way) awesome workout ,even better if you carry on to Port Isaac but there and back is a killer.
and the county is empty btw loads of room for the chosen few ,just wish i could get a cider there on the way back

Hello Mrs S, all well here thankyou, hope the same goes for yourself! I am getting slightly bored and have been consuming far too much alcohol and junk food... I have given up smoking, for over 2 weeks so far, so that is one good thing I suppose, though my GOD I want a cigarette... :p

It is definitely strange, this feeling of being "trapped", and I've never before looked forward to the drive to the shop for supplies... Once there though it is quite stressful because people really don't seem to have grasped this "social distancing" thing, even with direction arrows on the floor, and staff members acting as shepherds.

Hello @Acme glad all is well for you, it is for us too. People havent been too bad near us, more the issue have been shelf stackers going all over the place making it harder to avoid.
I will be most interested to see what is said on Thursday.

It really does make you feel quite trapped, very surreal experience. :)

House viewing tonight, gonna buy my own square kilometre of Sweden and fill it with union flags and British tat from the "dollarstore"

Wooden construction house. Very weird.... It's basically bs posh shed.

Just taken her a bowl of chopped apple, pear and banana. At least she's awake and lucid today. She didn't open her eyes yesterday, or talk. Just wailing. When lifting her head to give her a drink, pushing meds into her mouth with my thumb or carrying her to the bathroom. Lots of wailing.

Better today though.

Awesome pic. Wish I had that as my daily walk :)

I try to aim my walks for late afternoon ish to avoid as many people as possible but yesterday it seemed everyone was out. There were loads of kids around one particular area with (I presume) their parents sat on the grass together talking. One particular kid felt it appropriate to ride around on an electric scooter right past me and then cut in front of me so I had to stop before I tripped over him

Regardless of covid 19, it seems there are still kids not being taught manners sadly. (He was clearly old enough to know better) It's a big enough park so the kid had no need to behave that way.

Did another trip to the farm shop this morning. As it's drive thru you don't actually see what the produce is like. Got home and unpacked it, the leeks are huge!! only just managed to get them in the fridge lol I just wish the strawberries were cheaper for the size of the pack, and they had no big tomatoes.

Still, got the bits I needed, going to try a vegan cauliflower curry recipe :) plus a few other new recipes that I've found
