heating/ electric is a big rip off for me.

my heating and electric are seperate.

my last heating bill for april
64kilowatt hours used. 0.041600 per unit £2.66
standing charge for 30 days 0.235300 per unit £7.06
what a rip off.


I think my electric is probably mostly standing charges as well
 
Just told my housemate it's best if he stops working off of our kitchen table 9-5 and sets up in his room. I thought he had been getting his room ready for weeks but he seemed surprised.

Now I feel bad :confused:
 
I wouldn't feel too bad, it's a shared space that is for all of you.

I do not miss living with friends. Love some of my friends but they were a nightmare to live with
 
It's a trying time for all. Trying to make do with shared spaces/everyone working from home.

...i guess as long as you don't just set up in the kitchen as soon as he has gone. :p
 
So glad I live alone for this very reason :p

People kept telling me to get a roommate when I moved and I told them I can't because it's shared ownership but I don't want one. I went from living with my mum to having my own space. why would I want to have some random person I don't know living with me :o:p

I know one day I might be in a relationship and they may potentially end up moving in here but for now I'm making the most of it :)

Downside of working from home, the cats are going mental occasionally and running riot around the flat. Some quiet yelling and a bleeding finger later they've calmed down :rolleyes::D

Let's not talk about the electronics project I had spread across the table for 6 weeks, that was weekend activity :D

I had a word next time we were both at the kettle, told him he isn't banned from the kitchen and agreed to help him build a desk :)
 
Just realised i've bought something on Ali Express using my Amex instead of my Curve card. Wonder how much this is gonna bum me on fees!
 
just made a mug of coffee with 2 teaspoons of hot chocolate in it and erm oops it slipped out of my hands in slow machine.
so laundry time for me since I grabbed a white towel to wipe the walls and the floor before realising I'm going to have to get a mop and bucket anyway...

ahh well kitchen and bathroom floors cleaner than they were and the mug survived.


Think I have new neighbours as well used to be a nice quiet asian family (Muslims not Chinese) and now I'm hearing bloody takeshi69 or whatever that mexican pedo snitch rapper is called being blasted.

Guess I go smoke a fat J outside in my nike hoodie maybe they notice their neighbour might not put up with too much crap.

Housemate gone to a mates place to do magic mushrooms sooooo home alone. May try that new netflix film 'last crime in America' then an early night. Wild.
 
lol freaks :D I think my neighbours must have been playing that I just assumed from the shouting it was gummo

pretty annoying if they start blasting music all the time and bring the police around..

cos I've been smoking ;) in my apartment for years and no one ever complained about the smell or called the cops but I presume they respect how quiet I am
