Did it work? What's a Veeam?

Properly burned out this week. Super productive Mon-Wed due to some web certificate expiry drama, then I've been knackered since yesterday. Don't wanna work :(

No it seems Windows 10 has a bug relating to scheduled tasks waking it from a sleep state...

I have installed a bit of third party software to do the waking up bit, and will try again this eve. :)

Veeam are a backup software company.

All this nerd talk reminds me that I need to work out why my work laptop mutes the speaker and mic on zoom calls after a while (especially if several people try to talk at the same time) I thought it was just an issue with zoom but a supplier used different software and it did the same. The only way around it is to keep the mic muted but then it's a pain because I could then turn it on to talk and after a while it mutes everything so then I can't hear people telling me I'm muted :o lol

In other news i have had a really twitchy eyelid all day, really annoying :( really wanted to have a productive day but it's been driving me insane!

after being essentially part time since my last august redundancy (3 months chill and walked the camino started working november) i am on a catch up shift at the distillery ,47.5 hours ,wow a shock to the system after a 7 week (self funded) lockdown . Always disagreed with the notion of a 5 day week and definitely still of the same opinion,
in theory i can get home and do leisure stuff but really cant be bothered ,anyway with all the job uncertainty cant whine (too much) just boost bank acount then rethink maybe.
theres a swell hitting Polzeath ,albeit a short period messy affair so may have a mooch over that way
Apparantly a high R rate down here ,not sure how it will pan out when the a30 is full of caravans again ..................

2 months of furlough has led to some strange times. So far I’ve finally cleaned all 3 cars for the first time this year, I’ve done various other bits and pieces to them and now I’m just finding other things to keep me busy.

I need to stop buying crap hardware and trying to fix it up. Last thing I got was a pair of PS3s for £20. Much dusting down later, two replacement hard drives I had spare anyway and a £15 replacement laser and they’re all good. Before that I picked up a 360 for a tenner that apparently didn’t read discs only to discover that it came with a hard drive, Kinect and the drive actually works perfectly. Bargain.

Not quite sure why I’m bothering since I have a variety of PS3s and 360s already as well as Xbox One and PS4 but I seem to get more enjoyment out of pointless tinkering than actual gaming at the moment.

Trying to get my hands on some bits and pieces for the outlet hose on my portable A/C, so that I can fit it to the outward opening case mate windows in the bedroom, yet everything seems to ship from China, on ridiculous lead times. Does nobody buy these things in the UK?

This instant and moment I'm starting to use my motorbike to commute to work because my car has broken down with the same part it broke down last year I think - fuel pump.
Plus my phone smashed the other week so I've had to shell out on a new phone because of a deal going and I've upped my mortgage and I've got other things going on... it's all come at once! lol

I thought people saying brought instead of bought was bad enough. I've just seen someone on Facebook saying they "bort something" :l (ocuk really needs to expand its emojis for times like these :p)

I'm in a cba mood tonight so egg mayo sandwich for dinner :o (I've noticed this cba mood started to happen again once I began working again )

I've seen people use weather instead of whether.

p.s. Egg mayo sandwich :p

I’ve seen a growing trend recently of people using “are” instead of “our”
