There’s need for mobility scooters users to pass a test. As I believe many never driven a car.

My colleague was hit by a mobility scooter going round a corner and she was then dragged by him as her fleece got caught on the roller cage she was working on. This happened yesterday. She filmed the CCTV footage played back onto her phone.

Dread to think what would have happened if a small child was there instead of my colleague?

Some mobility scooters users drive at the max speed of their scooters.

Store manager has banned the customer from using his scooter in the store, which he has visited the store in the past leaving his scooter outside. Used a trolley as an aid.

Sat on the sofa in my outside clothes because it's freezing BUT... that's because the builders have taken off my garage door and bricked up my porch. Monday they will brick up the garage also. Exciting!

Are they slowly bricking you into your own house?

Edit

Already mentioned!

When I got home earlier I saw a girl (my daughters were in school with) who is now 1st year secondary. I'm pretty sure she was drunk as she poured something from her bottle near me and it smelled alcoholic.

My daughter told me that girl was vaping when she was in primary.

I am both angry and sad about this. Given where I live (village) I'll probably see her life unravel over the next decade. Ugh. Just ugh.

Soo had a minor heart attack today when I had a email from the HSE…

Turns out they’re looking for information on certain archaic switch gear that was involved in a incident and I’m the go to person in the uk…

So I get to go to charge the government for something for once instead of them raiding my paycheque.

Today I discovered that the German word for bulbs (as in plants, not light making thingies) is literally "flower onion" and this pleases me immensely.

In hospital awaiting for a minor opening under GA. Look very glamorous in my compression socks NHS gown and a dressing gown which I only wore for surgery. Couldn’t get a thin one for love and money but it does it’s job

I'm living a god damn Eastenders storyline.

In the last 18 days my wife has been urgently hospitalised resulting in a 2 night stay, my dad died, I got made redundant, my wife's mother had a heart attack and an assortment of other smaller issues too.

I'm literally at the point of nervous laughter each time something new goes wrong.

Whatever doesn't kill us makes us colder.
