Walked there without him!
Good lord, I thought I was bad for coming back from the kitchen without my cuppa.

Today I have commuted to the office and back, and been on the phone a total of 2 and a half hours catching up with family and friend. Now glued to the sofa too tired to brush my teeth :o

Closest I think I've done to that is getting up, getting ready for work and getting into my car only to realise it was my day off (fortunately before driving off).

I'm in a decent job at the moment with decent managers who are completely flexible with me and my issues. Today I had a stinking headache for a few hours and asked if I could finish an hour early because of it. They said not a problem and I said I'd make it up tomorrow. They said I didn't have to make it back up immediately or in one go, they said I could do 10mins extra at a time. :)

15mins after finishing the headache went and I'm thinking it may have been a stress headache brought on by my own stressing for which I have no reason. It's really good to have such a relaxed atmosphere but I can't feel relaxed because I'm waiting for them to realise I am dog poo and get rid. I've always had anxiety over my memory issues due to my head injury but in this job they've given me no reason to question it.
Added to the fact I'm doing my house up to sell because we've bought a house near the Brecon Beacons and arranging a tour of new Zealand East coast of Australia... Sounds glorious but stressful.

I'm surprised after moving house in 2019 I haven't driven back to my old house yet after work.

Many times, i've got onto the wrong direction on the motorway out of habit, because 9 times out of 10 i'll head that way, then have to drive 10 miles to the next junction to turn around :(

Pretty much always realise on the slip road, when it's "just" too late.

It's a slow worm party in my garden, now the sun is out.

Why do roads have lanes coned off before any works are done? It took about 12 mins to drive 200 yards because drivers had to merge from 3 lanes into 1 lane. Then at the bottom of the road, there's a major road and had to wait for a gap (ie when that road's lights are on red to go through). The works don't start for another 10 days.

Generally because there are various different agencies involved, etc. and those doing the work might not be doing road works management and so on, plus possibly other stuff like surveying being done at some points before the actual work starts which needs the sections free of traffic.

Mostly though it is because there is a lack of joined up planning and/or competency involved.

First time I’ve been home for Easter in 10 years, and so far I slipped while mowing the lawn last night as I was turning the mower round at the bottom of the garden, crushing my index and middle fingers between the handlebar of the mower with my full weight behind it and a concrete fence post, was kept awake from midnight to 3.30 by the baby screaming, and now this morning I’ve woken up feeling like absolute death, with blocked sinuses, a sore throat and an absolutely blinding headache.

Think I might go and get my job deep sea back the way this is going!
