I was at someone's house earlier around 6pm and this drunk woman comes walking in and basically takes off her coat, sits on the floor and won't leave.

she doesn't know who she is, where she lives, where she was supposed to be going etc

she could still walk mostly okay so I'm guessing it was alcohol+drugs legal or otherwise.

I'm guessing she was like 25-30 years old.

never seen such a bizzare thing in my life

we took her phone off her to call someone but it was dead so the only other option for her safety was the police who arrived in 10 minutes and took her away.
she couldn't tell them who she was either so I'm guessing she got to sleep it off in a cell.

One of my colleagues did similar after a work Christmas party - apparently wandered down a road trying every door until one opened and slept it off on some completely random person's sofa.

A bird had defecated on my car on the passenger side so I didn't see it for up to a few days. I washed it off and it had left a mark on the clear coat. Queue me using scratch x rather vigorously on it and now I have a blister on the end of my index and middle finger making doing anything with those digits rather uncomfortable. :(

Never done a sofa but many years ago slept in someone's front garden after I fell over the low wall and didn't bother getting up again. When I woke up I thought I was in a different town. If some random asks if you want to smoke a doobie, just say no kids.

I thought I would get with the times and use Google Wallet to pay for something so added an MBNA CC as it was the only one I could add. Lloyds Debit Card said nope, Capital One CC nope and the one I was actually able to add said "Please use another card" when I used it. Still waiting on Barclaycard to enable their cards on Google Wallet since they shut down their own app payments...wish they would get on with it as that's the card I get the most rewards from apart from the Tesco Club Card CC which is a joint account so the other half knows what I've been buying.

Was walking out behind my house in shorts before bed, pitch black and just walked through a massive patch of stinging nettles, what a time to be alive. No dock leaves in sight lol.

I have my barclaycard on google wallet for buying stuff online, or is there something different for using a phone for payments?

How is it legal for Hertz to scam people so often?

Every single business trip I've been on with colleagues has ended up with charges for damage, every single one.

Was advised to take before pics for every single trip, no matter how far, because it's standard practice for them.

Scum.

Never used Hertz -- have had good experience with Sixt but on the last trip they tried to upsell me to a car the same DAILY cost as what I had paid weekly, lol. And then when I returned it they said it came back with no fuel (lie).

Luckily I had a terrible experience in Mallorca years ago, so video the car before pickup -- video the car on return -- video the fuel gauge and file the receipt for the petrol <5 miles from airport.

I used Hertz last August, but on pick up I did take a few photos and uploaded to their site before driving off.

When i returned the car, I got no charge.

Hmm not sure tbh but Barclaycard were previously forcing users to use their own app for in store contactless payments, perhaps different if buying online. They are now moving over to Google Wallet and have added Debit Cards with Credit Cards coming later in the year apparently.

Didn't think to upload them on the day but we got a ton of pics and a video of the car when it arived.

The near side front alloy has clearly been curbed at some point, we noticed it immediately which makes it even worse they tried to blame us :D
