It’s about shoplifting is back to pre pandemic levels. So you can’t really say that shoplifting is due to cost of living back then.I would probably say that if they lowered the price of items (IE not charge £4.60 for a pack of 6 small cake slices) maybe crime will be lower. Just saying
Also, what is that image in the article about ? I thought that behind the counter by the tills has always been a "no go area" for anyone other than staff. Image doesnt make sense.
Or are they implying that they will concider not putting shops in the middle of a run down high crime council estate?
Also many police do FA about it.
Some Co-ops and smaller shops have just two staff in! If a gang of three comes in together - outnumbered.
Until an innocent retail worker or a customer gets killed from these gangs, nothing will be done.

They also pulled out the ATMs from Co-ops. A few have been damaged around here. Some villages’ only ATM is the Co- opFair enough
I thought real criminals rob bookies and banks, anyway, not Co-ops

I always feel like that. In my head i think it'll be brilliant, then after a few hours i seem to just wander around the house feeling lost
