Well i am unemployed, this is my third redundancy while I've been on these forums, the first helped me to move here by kickstarting my mortgage overpayments up in Yorkshire, the last gave me the opportunity to walk the Camino not sure what this will lead to but paid up to xmas to think it over, dont feel ready to retire tbh so more part time i think.........

I doubt it, my skills are rubbish. I just rely on blatting people flat and smothering them at this point.

I'll check if there's a club trip and convo ou.

Just slipped cutting mushrooms and put the knife through my left thumb. FFS.

Putting a plaster onto your thumb with the other hand is surprisingly tricky.

No, I don't think so. It's more than a scratch but not deep enough for stitches or anything. I hope, at least. My wife is away with the car and I live far enough from anywhere that I'd probably have to call an ambulance if I do.

Just really annoying mostly. Like I chop vegetables most days, have done for decades. Why did I randomly stuff it up today?

Bloody hell that was a while back, think it was Championship Manager then.

I have a friend who plays this annually - the original copy he played as a kid from about 1998 or something. He's basically played through 20 or 40 years worth of seasons as every single team. Mental. That's his unwinding time. Guy loves numbers and organising things.

This instant and moment I have just got back from work and really bloody glad it's the weekend and I have zero commitments
