I'm not sure actually. Didn't get a chance to ask as he's a colleague who messaged 5pm Friday to say he was going away :P

I have another colleague/friend who is from Lomza. Would love to visit sometime, he's a bit of a country boy so I'd like to see his home town.

For now it's pretty sunny here in Bedford :)
 
Heard a commotion out the back earlier so had a good watch of the local wildlife and spotted 2 feral beasts involved in some form of a mating ritual.


One was white and the other looked like a Nigerian prince.


White guy > you tried to kick me
African guy stands there waiting.
The white guy is dancing around giving it the old "come on then" etc.
A few stones go back and fourth
He starts coming forwards again and the african guy picks up a fallen tree branch to defend himself.
The white chav now starts to bottle it shouting in an almost pleading voice "put the stick down then and I'll knock you out" repeat x 10
Nigerian Prince picks up a rock he can barely manage with one arm.
The chav guy bottles it again and dances backwords.
Small stand off from about 30ft whilst the white guy starts becoming racist
now realising he's out of his depth and an African warlord has taken over the other man body he starts to walk off whilst shouting "your going to get stabbed"

I'm guessing the Chav started it and the other guy was just going about his business.


seen the same chav around here a few times, I think he visits some young womans house.

I heard her chasing him down the street one day because he stole her debit card.


Got some proper chav family next door who like it quiet though, any bother out the back and my neighbours usually at his window swearing at them to go away :cry:
I wouldn't dare I'd be too worried someone would stone my windows

Currently sat in the TV room on my lunch break while on nights, and somebody’s put Alien:Covenant on, a film that should really be renamed “Alien: We’re all stupid and we deserve to die”, in my humble opinion.

Come across an alien world teeming with unknown life? “Let’s all wander round without any sort of protective gear, disturbing all sorts of stuff. Why would we even send the Android or a drone or something, that would be silly!” Also, “We’ve just been attacked by these horrifying monsters that killed many of us. Let’s all split up and wander off to do our own thing after barricading ourselves in these mysterious ruins that we have no way of knowing whether they’re secure or not…”

Too often the way. One I always remember - was out drinking with a bunch of people from work/former colleagues - one of the guys looked and dressed like Austin Powers and had got a bit ahead of us and some chavs decided to start on him, got a bit less sure of themselves when I turned up and started pushing some of them around then got very less sure of themselves when the rest we were out with turned up - one of them was in the Royal Marines and another ex-infantry. As we were driving off they came running back with 20 of their little mates all tooled up.
 
Unsure if this is allowed to say, but we've been looking at CBD oil over here for my wife, and were chatting to him about growing some actual cannabis plants (it's legal here to grow 2 plants per person). A guy my dad knows grows it and gives out small amounts of oil to all the old people in their group to help with pain etc.

I was asking him about it and he ended up giving me a huge bag of CBD flowers to try and make my own oil. I've just finished it using coconut oil, but it's got a fairly unpleasant burnt smell and is a really dark colour. Not sure if i've done something wrong!

Hopefully it's a learning curve for when we have out own plants. Bought 4 seeds, but have killed one. One looks a little brown on the leaves, and the other 2 aren't growing :(

There's plenty of growing guides online, but if there's one vital thing to do, it's get the PH of the water correct - without doing that you're just wasting your time and won't get anywhere. So it's worth a PH tester and some acid/alkalie solutiuons.

So a friend told me.

are you sure they are CBD flowers?

If they are from a cannabis plant the leaves still contain THC, some people get all the trimmed leaves from the buds and the sugar leaves to make cannabis oil/butter

I never made oil or butter, but if its a dark colour it's probably because of all the organic matter, and the smell because you probably burnt it.

there's way to separate the THC with butane gas etc which I guess would give you clear oil/butter.


BTW if your cooking with cannabis you have to decarboxylate it first, eating buds wont get you high otherwise.

No idea for sure, but he did give 2 jars of oil. One labelled CBD and the smaller one with THC so i assume so. Will see if what i've created does anything. I've only made the oil because the guy gave me so many buds, i'm not particularly bothered.

We're growing it for my wife to help her sleep due to her illness. Neither of us like the "high" so it's more just about managing her pain.

Will get a PH testing kit though.

Don't bother with the litmus paper types, they aren't accurate enough. An electronic one is what you need, they aren't very expensive.

Set up a resevoir tank, get the PH correct (it will drift over time) and bobs your uncle.

Yea, it'll do that too, it's just a generic PH test.

If you get one that tests nutrient/molar concentrations as well that'll come in handy if you use feeds for the plants to get the strengths correct or you can kill a plant quite quickly with too much food (plus the feed changes the water PH so food in the tank first PH it after).

Just managed to get a greenfinch off the cat.

It's in a box (open top, so it can get out) where the cat can't see it outside, but doubt it's going to make it.

Edit:it is gone, so must have been able to fly still. Yay!

Probably my favourite bird. See so few of them now :(

My super expensive squirrel proof bird feeder (65 quid) works.

There's at least one woodpecker near mine. I've heard it a few times in the last couple of days.

I found a dead one (bits of) in the roof guttering last year. I assume an owl had it. Can't think how else that would happen!
