Looks like you let mags into your undies drawer!

literally 6 open reach vans across the road, for one manhole in some garden.

Wonder if they found it full of slugs or something and are like hey come and check this out....

It was a bit crazy out and about this morning. I’d have gone a lot earlier if it was my decision. Supermarket car park rammed, isles rammed and then I thought it would be an easy journey back, but there seemed to be a local traveller funeral where of course they take it on themselves to stop all traffic that backs up across a major roundabout and dual carriageway, idiots.

Just need to pop into work tomorrow to change some light bulbs, put some RGB into the staff area and top up the animal feeders, then I’m staying in.

In a seeming surprise to everyone but myself 5 Christmas temps just didn't turn up today, 2 had been offered permanent roles, one belatedly emailed that they won't be coming back. Also 3 staff phoned in sick and "don't think they will be well enough tomorrow either" though with the flu that is going around some of them may be genuine as it has been wiping out those who've had it.

Last week one of my DRs booked a half day holiday for today. When I asked him about being in the office half a day as we have H&S policy against working alone, he said "I was thinking I might just be off the whole day". OK, glad I asked as you appear to be making up the rules as you go along...

Today the other person in the team, who is at home because of being the only one... Messages and asks about being in tomorrow as original person also won't be there tomorrow. When I asked why he's not coming in I was told "He doesn't feel well". Amazing that, knowing you'll be ill tomorrow, for Christmas eve, while on leave today...

Well I too the day as a “holiday” and enacted some modifications to my guitar only to find my wood planes too blunt to cope with the hard purple heart wood so spent the rest of the afternoon sharpening them.
Finish off the woodworking tomorrow after getting the car filled up to avoid the crazy. We’re not going anywhere if we can help it!
I have a present to wrap and that’s it.

Hold on, is this the job where you are making mega bank? And on Christmas eve you are there changing light bulbs? What in the boomer-nepotism-job is this?! :D

So japanese bidets are far superior to italian bidets.

Tonight is the sushi omakase at tokyo ten

Japanese Bidet is king.

Enjoy! Get a seat at the bar if you can. More fun.

I forgot to say, remember to carry your passport with you at all times, its the law. If a policeman stops you to ask you to show it, and if you don't, they will either escort you to the hotel to get it or you will have to go to a police station later to present it. It's a right faff. Plus, you will need it if you want to get tax free on your shopping.

2nd flight of my new drone.
Testing out the hyper lapse mode from about 40metres high.
I was expecting almost a pitch black video with just the motorway showing :O I should probably turn the brightness up on the remote :/

4k video

1 photo a second for 5 minutes to get that short video :/

I had the luminance level set on the motorway. but it seems to have messed up all the other lights, the ones I wasn't expecting it to pick up... I really expected just a bright strip like how the path on the moor is

Has really made for quite a stressful day along with a bunch of other things not going right - I'm getting increasingly tired of people who can't even be bothered to do the little things to not make situations worse.

Yes booked at the bar.

Yesterday we stopped at a little ramen black in a back ally in ginza as it looked and smelled great on the way back to the hotel was a satelite store of Haru chan ramen that opened in September was really good. We'd seen it on the way out and decided to call back later as we had no Internet etc.

Had a Michelin guide plauqe in the back and is 3.46 on tabelog (i checked after we got back) i see what you mean about the rating scale being different the pork was amazing! Worked out abour 18 quid for 2 bowls one large and a bunch of extra toppings, food is cheap here i think mcdonalds for 2 is about that these days.

Sat at the bar there and the chef was friendly mentioned he wanted to come to italy and the UK for the football!

Today I'm going to see if we can try the dipping place in ginza as Andrea has a few more shops to check around there.

We have a haul from mujji got the wheat and corn chocolates but ive not had them yet, and are going to stock up a bit more as tomorrow we travel to the apartment in Kyoto And I want to try the coffee beer.

It's not super busy around tbh from how people talked I expected the city to be way worse but crowds wise its no worse than milan manchester or London. Feels oddly safe we walked down some covered alley under the train bridge near the station with loads of little bars and food places between the bins would be sketchy in say Liverpool but here was nice, shame thweather is so good atm as the bar under the bridge would look like a movie set in the rain lol.

The Bidet situation has made me feel more comfortable risking it with the lactose even with
