They've converted one room into a room for Muslims (who obviously make up a proportion of their staff) to pray during Ramadan. What exactly is wrong with that? Looks like a progressive employer that is sensative to staff needs to me.

Nowt wrong with halal butchering, its been proved time and time again that it causes no distress to the animal unlike the un-islamic way of killing animals...damn those vegetarians to hell

...in fact ive heard eating veggies is quite cruel...spare a thought for those potatoes, tomatoes and other various veggies...

Ahhh what a great little lady that Queen is, i think its superb that shes built a mosque or put aside a room for her muslim employees.

Really? That's the problem i guess with Islam - Let's assume quran dont say that but the indication is Islam is not exactly tolerant is it? When ever something blatanly moronic and stupid is done, Muslims are quick to say to non-muslim that it aint islamic and it was never in the quran but the you never see this same muslims goinh public and condemming such acts.

If having other religion in saudi is not stated in the quran, why the hell some muslim clerics aint yelling out about it?......You know i dont even know anymore, it appears the line has been nlurred as to exactly what is islamic, arabian culture, what the quran says, how it is interpreted and how it is adopted without question asked.......scary.

If you are blaming the rulers for making such decisions, i can bet my money that their decision was taken as a result of what they perceived in the quran - prove me wrong and am more than happy to lick penski ear lobe and eat gilly's short.

It might only be a relatively small thing on its own, but as part of the bigger picture it represents the insidious Islamisation of the UK, which I and many other native Britons do not welcome one bit.

Causes no distress? You must be joking. I've yet to see an animal slaughtered where there is no distress and the Halal way is just as brutal as any other.

So a bunch of Newport Derbutts stick a pigs head on a door and it makes the news. Remember Pill is the same place where a bunch of chavs spray painted a Paediatricans wall as they thought she was a Paedo (since the title had Paed in it :rolleyes:

). Well Newport is renowned for being home of the welsh Chav. Cardiff has a larger Muslim community and an older one where I don't recall anything like that has happened, thats not to say it won't in the future.

So dislike for the East is one thing but the East disliking the west is another. I had first hand experience of the dislike that the east have for the west on the weekend. I met up with one of my Polish friends who shares a house with various people who are working here from abroad. One who is from Africa and another from Pakistan. Well we were talking about that Fergi london bridge song for a part explaining how the video and song are wrong.

That was untill he changed channel and something about Al-Qaeda came on. He asked me what I thought of this country and I put my views down. He seemed to dislike how the west was attacking the east with regards to Oil (This guy remember came from Pakistan a year ago) and how the Saudi's were all very quiet in this, he certainly seemed to know a lot and it reminded me how there are two sides to the coin. He seemed to dislike the Saudi's just as much as the USA and he disliked Tony Blair on the basis of his support to America.

This chap gave me a cold chill but seemed to think Terrorists would attack anywhere (no I don't think he is a threat to our country). Well a bit of further chit chat and its seems the English are disliked over there rather than other areas of the UK which I thought was very interesting.

Nobody likes us English! The Welsh hate us, the Irish hate us, the Scots hate us. The French, Spanish, Argentines and the Australians don't like us much either! Hasn't bothered us much so far
