"The OverclockersUK “Infinity Vesuvius” R9 295X2 QuadXFire System is the fastest system we have reviewed by a clear margin. This is the Bugatti Veyron of gaming systems. The Infinity Vesuvius has actually broken several records in our labs this week – but we will get to those shortly."....

Designed and engineered in a similar vein to the Ultra High End 8Pack systems, the Infinity Systems have been developed with the enthusiast in mind, delivering a taste of the full 8Pack experience at a lighter price point. Channelling the hardware experience and world class skill of 8Pack, the Infinity Series of Systems were born. Infinity aims to pay homage to 8Pack by combining many of the same standards, processes and components that 8Pack insists on using in his own epic range of systems.

Infinity combines cherry picked processors with the finest components available today with dominating presence, the pure visual of an Infinity system will compel you to desire the performance that lies within. Clean modern lines, packed out with the latest, cutting edge technology, every component chosen for superior performance.

Taking system construction to an art form, our professional in-house technicians meticulously cable manage, position and arrange all internal components with deft skill.

The Infinity Vesuvius system is the pinnacle of 4K gaming technology, armed with the mighty Intel Core i7 4770K Quad Core, Eight Thread Processor overclocked to a minimum of 4.60GHz! Unchained, all four cores operate in unison in speeds never experienced before, bringing the computational experience into warp speed. Cooled by a trio of closed loop liquid coolers, the Vesuvius maintains cool, quiet operation whilst ripping through every task in its path. The memory runs at an extreme 2200MHz throughout all 16GB with a tight, tuned timings, bandwidth is nigh on unlimited.

Storage is handled by both a SSD & HDD, a Samsung 840 Evo Series 250GB is selected a primary drive enabled for record OS boot times and configured for split second application and game load times. The secondary HDD is a Seagate Barracuda 2TB Sata III drive offering ample space for literally everything else. Tertiary drive options are available for those who wish to contain libraries worth of data with their Infinity System.

Decked out with a pair of epic AMD Radeon R9 295X2 8192MB graphics cards configured in Quad Crossfire for four cores of blistering firepower in maximum attack mode. Even 4K display resolutions crumble beneath the might of this graphical powerhouse.

Hooking everything together and providing the fuel for this volcanic power is the Silverstone Strider 1500W "80+ Silver Rated" PSU, relentlessly giving your components the life force required to operate at 110% whilst maintaining world class efficiency. Modular cabling allows for a neat installation, which is beneficial both aesthetically and ideal for optimal airflow.

All of this is installed within the glorious Corsair Obsidian 750D Tower Case, showcasing the sophistication and empowerment unlined by the Infinity Vesuvius.

I'd say Star Wars capital ships should be next, but Disney would probably sue :(

(Good job they don't know my system and hard drive naming principals!)

It looks pretty much I really don't see the point of these £2000+ prebuilt systems, does anyone actually ever buy them?

Very nice. Surely an E cpu would only give little if any gain in games, which is what this is designed for.

4 grand and you'd still have to live with on-board sound.....

Meh, if you really care about sound you'll invest in an external amp. The trouble with most sound cards is the amp they use whilst better then onboard isn't good enough to drive decent headphones and rest of the technologies all they do is artificially muddle the sound.

So who made the decision to stop using Jurassic names for gaming systems and go with a meteorological convention?

I decided to stop naming everything after Dinosaurs, but this one is named Vesuvius because that's the AMD codename for the graphics card.

For 4 grand I would expect an ivy bridge-E rig.
Not the ideal set up for a gaming rig, a highly overclocked Haswell gives better in game performance.

It's one of our biggest selling segments, not everyone who wants to invest in a top of the range gaming system has the time or ability to build their own.

As Scotti has already mentioned, Haswell offers better performance in a lot of games. :)

We also wanted the system to come in at under £4000, going Ivy-E would not allow this, we are confident there is not a single PC in the world that can out perform this machine at sub £4000, hey there may be no PC faster than this full stop at any price. :)

Of course if you want an Ivy-E version with a pair of 295 X2 highly overclocked it is of course something we can offer as we will build any custom bespoke system should a customer wish it. :)

As Scotti says, very popular for us to the tone of several units a week. Were even selling a few 8 Pack systems now a month which are priced £6000-£10,000.

Like Scotti says so many people would love a high-end good looking water-cooled system but can't build it themselves or simply don't wish to build it themselves, hence they come to ourselves for a solution.

Lots of people out their with 100k+ cars, who are very wealthy and just want a state of the art solution PC wise that looks the part too, a service we offer. :)
