Mate Amber heard destroyed the dudes career and was the one to bring it out into public. Hes only trying to clear his name after everyone practically turned against him.

What would you of preferred he suffer the indignity in silence? Just be quiet about being a victim? Not clear his name? Its this woman who is the cause of it being so public in the first place.

Much like Dr D Hughes, the BBC are biased, we all know that already.

possibly the same reason i mailed them three times asking why they weren't reporting about evan wood impersonating FBI agents etc to libel Manson and they've still not breathed a word of it.

The issue I have with the entire case is that it's her word vs his. With one exception, every single witness presented by Depp have collaborated his testimony and confirmed he has never laid a finger on anyone ever, including ex partners and his ex wife who were in a relationship for 14 years. Yet the only witnesses that could have confirmed Heards testimony are both dead. What is more telling though is that one of those witnesses loved Depp deeply so even that is questionable as to its validity.

The whole thing is just tragic. Not quite as tragic as the neckbeard circlejerk defending Depp, but close.

Now I feel tragic for even commenting on it. The world would be a better place if the both of them just vanished from the public eye.

Caught some clips of her testimony this morning, jeez lol it's so obvious she's lying the entire time. You'd have thought a Hollywood actress could do a better job than this but it's embarrassing. As stated above, the whole thing is tragic but Amber is clearly the abuser in this whole thing, evidence and witnesses all but rubber stamp it. Depp is clearly no angel but, the poor guy has had his career ruined by an absolutely repulsive creature

1st time I can remember seeing it on the UK front page, and in fairness that headline isn't about her abuse of him.

My point was more the quite emotive image and headline showcasing her abuse allegations, but nothing comparable on the other side. I guess a crying woman generates more clicks than the slightly more complex reality.
