You can buy it now for £49.95. It's called the XFPS360 :).

I agree with the comment above about it taking something away the experience that the 360 offers though.

Product Overview:

XFPS 360 Product Overview:

· Compatible with most PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse combinations, those expensive FPS set-ups have not gone to waste!
· Instant plug and play technology
· Ideal for use with all FPS titles such as Call of Duty and Halo series
· Highly durable modern ‘black’ coloured shell
· Brings all new auto fire functionality to the Xbox 360
· Allows gamers to use PS2’s Dual-Shock 2™ controller on the Xbox 360 ™
· Enjoy enhanced performance on titles such as Pro Evolution Soccer 6, which originally debuted on the Playstation™.

XFPS 360 is also compatible with:

- PS 2 Light Gun
- PS 2 Racing Wheel---The XBOX 360 steering controller is very expensive,but
you can use the PS 2 steering wheel for it now
- PS 2 Dancing mat
- PS 2 Guitar
etc.

Hmmmm, I wonder if my Logitech DFP will work with my 360 using this. I know it says it's compatible but it would be interesting to see if the FF works.

£50 :o sod that

I know...are they having a laugh? Although if the product really takes off it will no doubt drop in price especially if it gets a competitor.

Not interested myself though, like controllers to much now :)

The PS2 connector appeals to me. Should open up the availability of a joystick for fighters etc without trying to track down a DOA4 stick.

Remember, even with this adapter, games are going to think a control pad is connected, not a keyboard and mouse. In other words, what I'm saying is that if you think this adapter is going to allow you to control 360 FPS games the same way you can on a PC then you'll be disappointed.

I've used the keyboard/mouse adapter for the original Xbox and while it's better than a control pad, you can tell the games don't have native support ...

They could make £50 instead of someone else. I thought MS was greedy?

Because as mentioned above, it would give those people who can afford the extra for the adapter an advantage. If MS made it then games developers would actually have native support for it but I would assume the reason they don't is because it would give players a massive advantage.

One of the advantages of consoles is that everyone is on a level playing field. Native keyboard and mouse support would take that away, but this is just a bodge so nobody needs to worry.
