This M3 - Worth it or not?

rear end damage? looking at the pic the bumper panel gap on the n/s is almost non existence, I would point out the car is bent and offer £2500 max
 
Is the bottom left corner of picture 8 a list of outstanding issues/concerns? I know nothing about BMWs but an M3 with a "slight noise from the gearbox" concerns me!

Slightly apt number plate I think :)

Given that it's a manual box that's about the only bit I'd not really be bothered by. A gearbox swap is only a few hours work for a home-swap, and they aren't prohibitively expensive to buy (used).

The rest of the car and it's rather "unknown certainty" status would have me far more worried.

hehe, it's almost certainly been wiped over chap as it's on a rolling memory card in the camera :(

fast little sleeper you have there though, what's it got under the hood?
 
2.0 liter gti6 engine and box decat pipe jetex exhaust
suspension gti6 rear axle with solid mounts to dial out passive read wheel steering and xsara vts front springs and shocks slightly lower and stiffer and roller bearing wishbones.

My speedo stops measuring at 140 km thought you was just toying with me lol

I definitely wasnt toying with you :p

had crap front tyres on the car at the time and those bends at 71*cough* mph were enough to make me back off but your car definitely has a lot of grunt! :cool:

your car impressed me enough to make a thread about it!
