there was no cpu in the board, how can i flash it before cpu goes in? the mobo wasnt brand new and i dont know what was in it before i purchased it, it was part of a new computer that got damaged in transit, can i put cpu in so i can get into bios then flash it?
I very much doubt that it will have a bios that supports these new cpu's. You are going to have to buy or borrow a cpu to flash it. G3220's have been going in our MM for around £25.
I was doing some research on this too,and stumbled across this post on overclock.net:

So,this is why I was asking you about the CPU last time.
We need to see if Intel have been nice about the Pentium - I know that MSI have some B85 based overclocking motherboards for the Pentium dual core they hope to release. So they have probably found a workaround for the block Intel put on the workaround for the block Intel put on overclocking with lower end chipsets.
Send me one of these new cpu's and i will be happy to try it out.
