Thor: Love and Thunder

Wow what utter trash. Jane being more proficient than Thor using the hammer. Zeus looking like a ballae dancer. Kids fighting the dark army all of a sudden without any fatalities. No main character kills. Gor killing others off screen then has a change of heart. Thor the unreliable guy becoming a daddy. I though Dr strange 2 was bad but this is 2/10.

The child army was a bit silly but I liked the villain. All evens out I guess.
Same was ludicrous and the whole thing was too silly. Way beyond hilarity. Disappointing tbh. Taika said he won't be back for next. I think that's a mutual agreement. How could he get so right with Ragnarok and come up with this. There was parts I liked but overall was poor compared to other Marvel successes.

This was... disappointing.

Bale desperately needed more screen time and proper non-canon god fight scenes & character work... he was the best bit of the whole film & barely saw any screen time... sad face

Yeh, it was a bit odd.

I mean it was sort of entertaining, but they have made these films so silly that any emotional clout they try to show falls flat. I mean, the Thor films are basically just comedies at this point.

I actually quite like the Marvel stuff when it's a bit more serious but with the odd joke /light hearted moment thrown in here and there.

These films are just becoming like parodies now.

Also, I agree that Bale needed more screen time.

I think they cut out a load of Bales scenes in the end.

Complete polar opposite from Ragnarok, had a few funny bits but there was so much stupid stuff I half expected Leslie Neilsen and Chevvy Chase to make an appearance as it seemed more like a spoof.

First Marvel movie I've stopped watching half way through. I've also only watched the first episode of She Hulk and can't bring myself to watch the rest. I used to enjoy MCU so much but recently it's doing nothing for me.

Yeah, had a few giggles and laughs watching it but it just all seemed so... slapped together and overly silly. I loved Ragnarok and the shift in tone but I think that was primarily because of the planet they were on. It just all worked. Here it really didn't. Bit bizarre and disappointing! Kind of knew it would be when Gor kills that first God that looked like it lived in Teletubby land or something.
Also, they either need to grow the sfx teams or give them less work cos the ... was going to say quality, but more like the consistency of the work is all over the shop. Some stuff looks amazing and others looks quite poor.

Ooof, it took me two attempts to finish this. I think what is worse is that I wasn't made angry by it, or felt any enjoyment from it, instead I'm just apathetic to it all now.

I watched the 1st Thor film about 2 weeks ago and saw the character of Thor being treated like an actual "hero" rather than being the butt of continual jokes in his own film and it's just so unbelievable that Marvel have purposely decided to twist the character so badly from the arc setup in Thor 1 (is he worthy) & 2 (dealing with loss). I would suggest that anyone who is really happy with this film watches Thor 1 and Thor 4 back to back and see the vast gulf in difference between both Thors and then reflect which Thor character is the better one.

I'm a big MCU fan so are rarely tired of new MCU content, but this was absolute trash, and such a shame after Ragnarök was such a hit and I really liked the last movie in the phase, Dr Strange 2, this was such disappointment.

Rubbish jokes based almost entirely in poor sarcasm, bringing back Jane, whom since she hasn't featured since forever we just don't care about enough, even with the cancer storyline.

I think the most disappointing thing is now some of the deleted scenes are coming out we can see signs of a totally different Zeus arc, and what things could have looked like without a joke every 12 seconds.

and I think I'd have much rather seen that movie.
