Those of you with OcUK OEM 2700K Official OC Results thread!!

Gibbo, I had ordered 2700K OEM and you better don't let me down if it doesn't get 5GHz with ease. I look forward to get it on Tuesday (Delivery) and will post back here. I hope it clocked well with my same motherboard. Only one way to find out. :)

As long as you keep your temps well under controll, you'd have to be very unlucky to have any major problems with your cpu imo!

Yep got my i5 under water (Corsair H70) so don't think it would be an issue, just don't have the money to replace anything if it goes wrong! (or even money to post it to RMA it tbh) Student life for the win!

You bought one when you've none stop moaned about them? ;D

PS WARNING - ZOOMEE IS TEH SANDYBRIDGE NOOB ;)

Your chip just sounds like the typical 2600K to be honest, I've had two (don't ask) and both did 4.6 100% stable - I'm like you I like total stability.

So question is are these OEM's something special or is Boostjunky an undercover OCUK employee helping Gibbo to sell stock. :p

I'm tempted by 2700K OEM but I think I'll await more feedback from Bulldog etc.

The 2600k I got on saturday wouldn't go above 4.4 without big volts. This 2700k (which was £20 cheaper btw lol) easy got to 4.6 with allot less volts!

If you have already have a 2600k - a 2700k is a waste of monies tbh.

LOL mate i'd love to work somewhere like OCUK, I fix cars or peoples plumbing, dont even get to do anything interesting anymore.

I ran prime 95 for 3 hours this afternoon at 5.2ghz, i'm on my netbook at the moment but i'll post the screens later on.

Strange....I just fiddle with my old 2600k retail chip (that do 4.6GHz at 1.45V) and now it was all ok after 2 hours prime95 at 1.36V, I just cannot understand why is that, could be issues on old bios F7 before, ok now on F9. Hopefully I can try 5GHz tomorrow on the retail one!

As promised, prime 95, this was left on upto about 4pm today, however after 2 hours temps edged just ove 80 degrees.
