Those of you with OcUK OEM 2700K Official OC Results thread!!

I have a 6950 in the loop and the heating is on. I have two XSPC twin rads one thick one thin in a CM 690. I'm thinking of getting a SIlverston TJ07 in the new year with a couple of thick triple rads.

I also forgot to order some decent thermal paste when I bought my new chip, had to use some old stuff I had lying around. I'm not sure what type it is either as it came with my 6950 waterblock. Gonna order some decent paste this week.

Can you run the latest IBT for a bit Boostjunky? Prime95 is a bit more lenient I think.

Currently fighting the urge to spend my SB-E savings. :p

Ok mate, no worries. Gimme a sec and i'll put it through 20 runs for you. I was seriously thinking of going SB-E too. For me thoughI didn't really want to go through a whole mobo replacement and I don't think i'll be able to afford the chip i'd want.

10 runs on IBT 2.51 at maximum, took a bump in vcore though. Also for reference, 5ghz needed 1.384v and 5.1ghz needed 1.408v. It seems for my chip the vcore jump is at 5.2ghz after that I hit the multiplier wall as I don't want to exceed 1.46v.

I've ordered one now anyway I'll find out for myself, don't think I'll go over 1.35v though just to be safe though.

Are you sure that's not throttling? first result is 58gflops and the rest only 51.

No mate, I was using the internet while it was doing the test.

Also although I do understand stability, i'm not going to sit here doing 50 runs of IBT, neither am I going to run prime for 24 hours overnight. Go back over my posts, I have never claimed my overclock is 100% stable, I simply posted screenshots of the stability tests I have run and there results. I will admit that my system probably isn't a billion percent stable but if it BSOD's i'm here to fix it.

I've already gone out of my way to do tests, time I could have spent doing somthing far more interesting. There was a lot of talk about the 2700k overclocking well, and its obvious many members were indecisive and curious about buying one. I posted these results not to say "look what i've got" or for bragging rights but to simply show what the chip does to people thinking about buying one. Plus i'd much rather have my electricity meter spinning while i'm playing my games.
