Thunderbird 2 Case Project

my dad carved me a thunderbird 2 toy out of a gate post wen i was a wee lad that was the envy of everyone in the street compared to their pathetic die cast versions.

Maybe you could do the same with a tree trunk lol.
 
Anyone got a peice of foam, but hard about 3mm x30cmx30cm? i need some for putting inbetween my hdd and psu and dvd.

I did think about making the project in wood but would have probobly cost quite a bit more plus im working in my spare room i dont have a workshop and i have a saw, hammer and few other things haha

Ok quick update:

Bended the green plastic and drilled wholes for fan.
Started making a solid metal back peice for the backplate and graphics card to sit
Got one side of the green 30cm lights carved out the side, next side will be done soon.

Photos coming tuesday/wednesday,.
 
Thanks guys, Anyone know about paints? i want a certian colour but cant really match it on the colour tab things, can i take the code for the colour to anywhere and they make it?
