I love a good thunderstorm but this year hasn't really delivered many so far. That one that went over some of the south coast yesterday kind of skirted nearby but I was only just able to hear one or two rumbles in the distance. Bring on the multiple strikes per minute after dark already!

It was supposed to rain here at 11.00 - Nowt

We are supposed to have thunder and lightning now at 1.00 - Nowt.

The weather men couldn't hold a get together in a brewery.

Well the heavens just opened up big time here in Putney. Had to close a window, absolute lunacy

We have a warning for severe thunderstorms this afternoon im as worried as a worried thing.

I was completely drenched last night. There was a river of water going down the road about 6 inches deep in places, it was rather crazy. No thunder though, just mad rain.

And it's just started again.

The weather knows it's a bank holiday weekend... Thunderstorm expected in next few minutes, already chucking it down.

Almost 2.5 hours later, we finally get our first thunder rumble, tipping it down again.

At the minute the met office weather is saying just clouds for my area, don't need any torrential rain around here

Got loads of rain and a few rumbles here, and just had one flash followed by a bigger rumble.

Quite enjoying a not-roasting summer TBH. Long days but cool temperatures

No thunder but half way to work ran into torrential rain with floods of water on the roads - had to steer through a few bits.

Thunder here for half an hour, few heavy showers and back to sunny but looks very grim looking to the South West.

Few rumbles here (North Norfolk) about 5am this morning but didn't come to much.

Been ages since I've experienced a good thunderstorm, sure they are not as common as they used to be
