TICKETMASTER IS ****

Regarding the high eBay prices there's a 'movement' on Facebook . Join eBay with a fake email , then bid an unbelievably high amount to **** the touts off. Some of the bids are in there millions lol

lol "movement" this always happens, come June next year people will still be buying tickets off ebay, when people have stopped fake bidding and actually want to go.

stupid ebay tout, You lot ruined my day today hahaha not payin u

hurt of the butt

even if genuine fans wanted a ticket, 220,000 wouldn't be enough to fulfil every one

Yeah they are pretty dire :( Spent about two hours trying to get tickets this morning to find they sold out in about 14 minutes :p

I've never had any problems with buying tickets for concerts, and I've bought a lot. Maybe you're just not that good at the internet?

One has just sold for over a hundred grand:eek:

No... no... Nope.. Nah uh... No... Nope... NO... NO....

Why not have peoples names printed on the ticket once they purchase it and then have random ID checks at the venues. This will deter people buying from the touts in case they get caught.

Hmm, the link I just posted the bidding was over 7 grand but a bid was removed and they finished at 350 quid (175 per ticket). Reckon eBay is responding to the touting or just people messing with the bids?

They wouldn't have got in.
You had to pay with a credit card and then one day before the concert you had to take your passport and other proof of your identity and it had to match up to your credit card.
It was a very expensive weekend for some of the people who went.

You said none were sold, which was not true.

So you had to go with the person who bough them, so you could buy 4, go yourself and sell the others and say they are family members?

Because it is unfair to people who buy a ticket and then can't go and give their ticket to a friend I guess...

The maximum sale was 2 tickets per person who had to pay by credit card.
Even if you gave the ticket away the other person would have to go down with the original buyer who would have to prove it was his credit card that bought both tickets.
The tickets also had printed names on them and the other person had to prove it was their name and if you couldn't prove you were Iain or Mullan (in the example below) you wouldn't get in.
You were then given a non removeable band round your wrist that matched the tickets and according to mates who went everybody was checked the following day on the way in.
