I find the opposite. Takes a friggin age to get to January pay day
This.
I get paid 24th of the month, but at Christmas I get paid earlier, which helps buy presents for the family, but bums me come mid-Jan.
It's all relative to how busy you are.
Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so
Im not sure about this, I think it is all relative to your age
one day when your 5 is 0.05%
one day when your 50 is 0.005%
So one day when your 50 would have 1/10th the significance than when your 5

I don't know why people say it changes with age - but it seems to be correct!
As a kid, I recall utter tedium at school and in exams; waiting 30mins for my favourite morning cartoon seemed like a lifetime. A road-trip 30miles seemed to take an absolute age.
Yet here I (we) are now, and much like the acceleration of the expansion of space-time, life is passing by at an accelerated pace.
