Finally, we are very excited to announce the Vertagear Triigger series available in 3 flavours, the 275, 350 and the 350SE. The model number is a reference to the amount of parts in each chair, with over 275 and 350 parts used respectively. All the models feature the patent pending 'paddle' design for adjusting the seat height and tilt angle from the triggers found underneath the armrests, which provides a significantly more convenient & quicker way of adjusting your chair compared to the conventional methods. This is achieved using the 'dual spring hub' with over 80 parts alone, allowing the quick adjustment of height, tilt angle and tension without any obvious mechanisms on display. All the models also feature adjustable seat depth functions, with the 275 series featuring height adjustable back/lumbar support, and the 350 series featuring multi-directional lumbar support.

All the Triigger series have an aluminium frame & base, with DuPont TPEE mesh seating areas, calfskin leather accents and steel alloy mechanisms. All the aluminium 5 star bases feature silencer technology, to stop unwanted noise when moving the chair. Fitted into the bases are 65mm Holton hub-less casters for superior operation, glide and durability. In addition, the 350SE features an automotive grade paint finish, which looks absolutely stunning in the flesh, a multi-directional headrest and upgraded 75mm Holton hub-less casters.

Don't mistake these for an average gaming chair, these are operator chair level products with all the bells and whistles expected from chairs of this pricepoint. Having sat in one of these at Computex, I can confirm they are insanely good quality and unlike any other chair we currently offer. Stock will be arriving hopefully before Christmas, I will update here once I know the accurate ETA. Preorder now!

They are operator chairs, they have a 10 year warranty. They are in direct competition to the likes of Herman Miller, where the decently specc'ed Aeron will set you back a grand and more. People who spend 8-10 hours a day in front of a PC will probably see the benefit of investing in a chair that will provide excellent support, comfort and functionality for the next 10 years and more. Either way, there will be a slew of reviews prior to launch, including a features video by ourselves, so if you're on the fence, that should help :)

There defiantly is a market for high end chairs, but anyone in the market is going to go to Herman Miller Steelcase.

They wouldn't be looking at a Vertagear unless there crazy.

I'm glad we don't share your pessimism then, these chairs have been one of the most requested products we've had in the last 5-6 months.

Got to agree with this. My immediate thought was these are Aeron clones. Only real test is longevity though - my Aeron must be 10 years old and still rock solid with full daily use (I work from home). It only needs me to whip out the duster to look brand new.

This is 100% the market that Vertagear are aiming at.

Be good to see an image of the chair with a headrest fitted.

But, as with all chairs, but especially once you get to this price range, buying online without first being able to park your backside on it is a risk. It may have loads of adjustment, but this really is a lifetime investment.

Planning to have both in our showroom shortly after launch :)

I might even put in a pre-order for the 350 SE.

Trying to wrestle with whether the SE is worth the extra money over the standard 350.

As it's something I'll be keeping for years to come. And with back issues. These chairs look much better for comfort over a normal gaming chair.

But such a lot of money for either, so going to think on this some more.

Just so you know the differences between the 350 and 350SE

- Paint job - They've basically used the same grade of paint found on cars, so it's long lasting, hard wearing and it looks really nice (providing you like red)
- Holton hub-less Casters - These are 75mm compared to 65mm, which gives a bit of extra height to the chair, more importantly they are better performing than their 65mm counterparts.
- Weight Limit - Up to 200KG on the 350SE, due mainly to the 75mm casters.
- Headrest - There is a multi-directional headrest included as standard with the 350SE.

We will be doing a video on the 350SE before launch to further highlight the features.

Car grade paint isn't remotely expensive, so it's not really a selling feature.

They are very expensive, though I can see why (and the paint used is definitely not a reason). The thing I'm concerned about is that the more parts there are, the more points of failure there are.

Definitely not. I wish I had your expertise in how much it costs to spray a chair in China with a quality paint finish without adding much to the cost. Please enlighten us.

Ok, saved me a job, it is DuPont TPEE mesh used on the Triigger. Not 100% sure if it's the exact same type as the Aeron but I can find this out at some point today.

Well you obviously don't. Car paint isn't particularly expensive, and getting a smooth spray isn't either. I actually do have expertise on this subject, quite extensive in fact. Due to the shape and size of the parts of the chair, it's significantly easier than spraying a car body because there are no large flat planes with compound curves that could be collection points for paint to run if you spray too heavy.

My point is that it isn't really a selling point, you have numerous cases for sale that have been painted with "car grade" paint up to the same standard. It's called using hard wearing paint and spraying it properly. That really isn't a selling feature. I think you've just been trying to list as many things as you can think of to hype these chairs up.

So it's gone from being 'not remotely expensive' to 'not particularly expensive' over the course of two posts. Truth is Spoffle you and I have no idea how much is costs to achieve that kind of paint finish on this chair, we certainly know it will add some cost, it would be silly to think otherwise. As it is a clear difference between the 350 and 350SE it is most definitely a selling point. Did you forget about the improved casters, weight limit and headrest too? Plus, listing the different points of the chair is called 'being helpful'. You should try it sometime.

Things I know for a fact : -

- Spoffle is not an expert on the cost of manufacturing a operator task chair, particularly in regards to the cost of the paint used ON A CHAIR. Neither am I in the interest of fairness and I don't pretend to be.
- There are different grades of paint, there are also different types of paint. Vertagear class the 350SE as having 'professional automative grade paint'.
- Having a superior paint finish to a chair is a 'sales point' and is treated as thus in all sales material that is put out by Vertagear, and in turn, OcUK
- I never said 'expensive car grade paint', you said that.

Get your facts straight.
