** TITAN X NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER!! **

thats the debate im having with myself do i buy another 980 or titan x
i had a pair of 970's for like a day or two and got a bit of strutting which has made me worry of going sli again :(

im guessing a single titan x would get me 144 fps on my rog swift or else very close to it on ultra with out having to worry about sli scaling

A single TitanX will get you a much higher minimum FPS and pretty much reduces any chances of stutter to zero. Its a big price to pay but the Titan X pretty much guarantees best gaming experience.

I still have spare allocation on Asus and MSI left in FREE stock, all incoming EVGA is sold out which arrives next week but EVGA are working on getting us a second much larger wave of stock the week after as we've got the strongest sales in the UK on their cards. :)

Free stock is my favourite kind of stock :D

Man so jealous of the guys who have ordered four, that's insane.

Also, if this doubling of ram continues does that mean the next Titan will have 24GB ram. Crazy times. Soon it will be quicker to let the CPU use VRAM as system ram!!!

i dont want to make a rash discussion here but if was to buy one would you give me free shipping to northern ireland? also do these cards qualify for witcher 3?

We've had a few customers today actually buy 4 Titans for themselves, quad Titan SLI, BOOOOOOOOOM.

Seriously, why would anyone do that, other than just to say they did? Nevermind the 3rd card, what is the cost:% performance increase ratio on that fourth card?!!?

They don't give a toss mate, it's only money!! lol

Leave 'em to it, it's bragging rights :D

(and in Kaap's case, benchies! So he's forgiven :p)

TitanX is an truly epic card, but for the same money you can buy a pair of 980's then all of a sudden its a very difficult decision.

Titan X really is a 4k gaming product in my view as you will never get stutter from running out of VRAM as right now I do not think there is a single game on the market than can use up the full VRAM buffer maxed out.

So if you have a 4k monitor a Titan X all the way and a pair of them would be amazing for 4k gaming. We've had a few customers today actually buy 4 Titans for themselves, quad Titan SLI, BOOOOOOOOOM.

But a pair of 980's now looks like great value. :)

Shame one Titan X will not do for 4K gaming or will it? Seems like two will ultimately be needed - in which case add another 980, but I would prefer a single card setup. What to do??????

Some were saying you need 2 titan xs for 4k on the other thread, but not sure if that has changed now that the cards are out.

Guess will find out soon, I think ill wait decent 4K screens and ATIs next gpu will perhaps be affordable options by this fall.

yep- more input needed on 4K with one Tx. Seems it may cope ok, but not willing to spend this much without more assurances. The e peen woul be nice though - lol:D
