** TITANX **

Some will.

The sweet spot at the moment seems to be 1440p 144hz with gsync or freesync.

4K will need two Titan X's for some titles maxed out.

Since the announcement of Titan X, I've lost all comprehension of what next-gen gaming actually means.

The XBone and PS4 Consoles marketed themselves as next-gen although with a wide gap between them in term of performance, with the max being 1080p and 60fps.

So, I merrily bought the GTX 970 believing that I'm going slightly further than the current next-gen standards. But with 8gb cards rolling out and the new 12gb card, doesn't this mean the current so-called "next-gen" is already out of date?

I'll be overclocking mine and hitting 4k with it, hoping to get between 40-60FPS with all titles Ultra settings. Either way it'll be better than playing on a single 290X because I don't have crossfire support and from what I've seen from the reviews an O/C'd TX is on par with a stock 295 so should be at the top of the 60FPS scale.

So close to buying one of these for 1440p on my ROG Swift man.. Plus my holiday to jamaica this year i have saved for isn't happening.. so i just have a bank account full of Titan X funds :( :( decisions decisions
