TitanZ: delayed indefinitely?

Well there you go humbug, just shows that it's best to keep quiet when you don't know what you're talking about.

What is wrong with you people? just because an OcUK staff member quoted me you think you all have the go ahead to loose your sanity?

All i said was i didn't think Nvidia would be releasing the GPU as Gibbo currently has them, Boom.... you lot lost your heads.

Get a grip.

Man, why do you get so bent out of shape when you are wrong? Just put your hands up and admit you was wrong instead of getting all emotional.

It was stated that the drivers were not ready, so no point releasing a card that doesn't have drivers..... Simples.

The pricing is ludicrous, if ocuk aren't even gonna test them because of the nuthouse inspired pricing then that says it all.

Probably more to do with the fact that it won't compete with its rival the 295x2 unless Nvidia can change something at software level. Why would anyone buy something that is hotter, louder, slower and more expensive than something twice as cheap?

Id bet there will be people that will take it over a 295x2 just because of the brand, daft decision imo but their money to spend I suppose.

nVidia just has that pull for some people. Their choice at the end of the day. Not every purchase has to go through the rigorous price/performance check that you 'AMD boys' (yes I did just use that term!!) all bang on about :p.

For people with money to burn maybe, if its gonna be up around 2 grand and slower than a 295x2 I have to wonder what the attraction is. Shiny cooler maybe?

I buy what works for me and that just happens to be nVidia. No way I could justify the price of this card to myself though, so sadly I will pass on this :(

I think NV are being a bit cheeky with this Titan market segment... the original was available out of circumstance (Oak Ridge subsidy), now we have a $3000 GTX card.

Who cares? If someone wants to buy an Nvidia GPU then they have every right to, they shouldn't have to go through some silly insult session from AMD proponents telling them that they are wasting their money and being stupid etc. People have their reasons for buying specific GPUs, one must respect that and realise that it is their money and they have place in ranting to them about how much better Y brand is.

Therefore, if someone wants to buy the Titan Z I'm not going to throw petty remarks around about how they have too much money - it's their decision and is not a bad one if the product is what they want and they're happy with it.

Nvidia are a company, the priority with every company is the bottom line. If AMD had made a line of new GPUs that were selling like hotcakes then they would be inclined to make more types of these cards and sell them for more profits too, and one could argue that exactly that has happened with the R9 295x2 - it's not cheap at all and AMD are capitalising on the popularity of their 290 series GPUs because, as with Nvidia, they are a business and they exist to make money.

I've already said its their choice on the previous page so settle down.
