I wouldn't buy one now, what with the Acer One on the horizon (nicer looks than the 701, larger screen, more powerful, more storage for the same price), the Dell, ECS g10l and MSI Wind amongst others.

If it meets your requirements get it.

But getting any larger than 9" is getting to the stage where you might aswell buy a standard laptop for the money.

They should be 701 prices, not higher.

but you can tell me weather or not it is worth the wait for another umpc and when they are said to be released?

there's quite a few manufacturers now jumping into the umpc ring, i'd actually wait a few mths unless you really need it for something right now.

something tells me there's going to be some cheaper and better spec'd eeepc killers in the near future, msi wind having already put it's hat into the ring.
