Were you around in those days? Are you one of those early sign ups? What are your memories of the Big Nuke and the Overclockers Forums from back then? How has your life changed between then and now? It would be nice to hear from people who have been around since the early days as well as entries to the giveaway.

I vaguely remember there being a reboot of sorts and that meant everyone's joined dates were screwy but cant remember the forums being down tbh..

I remember there being a lot less posting back in the day that was just crap, the signal/noise ratio has shifted loads IMHO, maybe I'm just older and grumpy now but I remember most of the conversations I had back on here were mainly based on what was going off on the OCUK CS servers and the way the GSV guys kept kicking ass :D

Date-wise, I'll pick 10-03-2008.

A reminder: Please post the date in the format DD-MM-YYYY so that there's no ambiguity. Any other format will be ignored.

I would hate for someone to lose out because they've not followed this.
Quoted for all those who have still failed on this point and might want to edit their entries :p.

I'll just repost this because we've hit 100 posts so it'll be on the previous (man sized) page.

I was originally a member of The Overclocking Store (OCS) forums, with OCS being the arch enemy of OcUK.
It was the same for the forum members and if I recall, we didn't speak about them and they didn't speak about us.

Unfortunately, OCS went out of business and we were without a home.
We were then offered a place here and a (que the Duck pun) flock of us were given a warm welcome at OcUK.

As for the date, given the rivalry between the two forums, I chose the release date of the game 'Duck Hunt' and added 20 years onto it.
