I had a Dell before and the quality was top notch, so yer I would say so and you will really notice it coming from a 1080P 60Hz.
I'm already on a 1440p panel mateI've ordered one, we'll see how it goes

Ahhh, sorry and thought you was still 1080P. Give some feedback when it arrives bud![]()
Tempting, but still unsure about TN.
Thing is I have a 144HZ 1080p monitor, so £450 is a big expense for Gsync
I rarely agree with you but G-Sync was a game changer for me also, sp on this I do. I haven't used a Freesync monitor but who knows what the future holds, albeit I am hoping that I will be buying a CV3 with G/Free working in it at some point![]()
1080p to 1440p is a massive leap and with G-Sync no less.. I'll never go back to 1080p 60hz ever!
Quite a few of us would say the same thing about TN -> IPS.
Especially at 27" and greater sizes. Is anybody going to honestly say that they can't see colour shifting on a TN screen that size? Even if you sit dead center, you'll see the difference in colour between the top and bottom of the screen.
TN is OK on a small laptop screen. But on a proper sized screen - any that I've seen anyhow - it's gash.
Honestly, would rather go without G-sync to keep IPS.
It doesn't *have* to be this way. I dont necessarily need some ultra premium display with incredible low persistence and all. 1440p monitors have come down in price. 120/144hz monitors have come down in price. And hopefully variable framerate monitors will not always be this large premium in terms of cost.If you want G-Sync and IPS money must not be a object for you. Majority of gamers would just be happy with anything G-Sync atm Since it's really expensive. IPS would be great, but most wont be able to afford both IPS and G-Sync. I'm quite happy with original Asus Swift g-sync TN panel.
Be quick guys, the closest competitor with stock is £505, this is an amazing deal, once it goes off special we shall set our normal price at £499 making us still the cheapest UK company with stock of this superb G-SYNC monitor.![]()

I can notice the colour shift if I move my head up and down excessively whilst on the desktop but not in game at all. 8 bit TN@1440 with g-sync is excellent, I don't miss 60hz IPS at all for gaming, even less VA.
Hi there
These are absolutely flying out, 20 sold today so far, still got a few hundred left so don't miss out.![]()
Got the monitor elsewhere but it was a toss up between Asus and Dell, however the Asus was an older monitor design and had more negatives on ocuk. So went for the Dell S2716DG NVIDIA G SYNC instead
most games such as COD i get 110 fps with everything on max so the 980 copes fine with this monitor.
