Today's mass shooting in the US

he's can't quite bring his anti gun stance in line with his pro left wing terrorism stance

I think that is pretty much it, he's made all these nazi/resistance comparisons, called me a bootlicker because I've said I oppose all domestic terrorism whereas he's sympathetic to the antifa guy who was armed with an AR15 and carried out a domestic terror attack. But if he now says he wants the US government to control guns then using his logic he's also a bootlicker.

Of course if he's happy for people to own AR15s like the antifa terrorist he's sympathetic too then he's taking a very silly position, the position of stupidly lenient gun legislation that has enabled these mass shootings to occur.

The solution - just resort to insults, memes etc..

On the other hand I'm happy to state my position right away - I'm against all domestic terrorism in the current climate* and I'm in favour of gun control.

Lets see if he attempts a sensible response.... I'm genuinely interested.

*I've had to clarify that with regards to the "but but what about the nazis, the resistance were the terrorists then" silliness

He's suffering from cognitive dissonance now, he's can't quite bring his anti gun stance in line with his pro left wing terrorism stance so he's had a mental break down and has had to resort to trolling and insults.

Ah yes, there are no finer nuances, we can only deal in absolutes.

Either ban all guns for everyone ever and never attempt to challenge Nazi's or everyone gets guns with no regulations or mental health provisions. They are the only two options.

Check out the brains on these guys.

You can't honestly be talking about nuance given your penchant for just calling people bootlickers, nazis, racists etc.. because they hold the wrong opinion.

The reality is that you took the rather flippant "bootlicker" position in response to me being opposed to a guy, armed with an AR15, who carried out a terror attack at an ICE facility. Apparently you're sympathetic towards him and made a comparison with people fighting the actual nazis. There isn't any nuance from you there and amusingly it probably applies to your personal views on gun control too!

The French/German resistance you drew rather silly comparisons to didn't use milkshakes!

You do know that under obama there was record gun sales?
And under trump there is a 7% fall in gun sales.

The record gun sales came after the NRA pushed the notion that Obama was going to ban guns so everyone better buy them quick, it was a marketing strategy that worked.

Wrong again.

Obama\Biden said he was bringing in new gun laws.
That was the best way to sell his mates guns. And it worked.

Nope

Obama bought in laws to stop mentally ill people buying guns. Trump reversed them.

The NRA actively campaigned to prevent the laws coming in and sell more guns with the fear all guns would be banned.

You are so far off the truth it's silly.

You did know under obama
"Loaded guns will be allowed in Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon and other national parks under a new law that takes effect Monday"

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/35484383/...lows-loaded-guns-national-parks/#.XUg4sOhKiHu

Also the silly git let passengers bring guns on to Amtrack
http://content.usatoday.com/communi...on-amtrak-starting-in-december/1#.XUg5HehKiHu

The laws he wanted to bring went in front of Congress.
So yes. He did try to bring new gun laws knowing they would fail.

Trump blames the internet and video games. Is he not aware that the same video games are available elsewhere in the world, in countries that don't have mass shootings?

He even got the name of the city wrong (said Toledo instead of Dayton).

A perfect display of how to read from a teleprompter, completely devoid of any emotion.

Agreed, How much can the Pepe base endure?!!?!?

I'm genuinely curious what is needed before America will look at guns themselves being in some way responsible for mass shootings.

Its almost a joke how they deal with these things by trying to grasp at any straw that doesn't have a gun at the end of it.
