Video games, ******* video games! If the shooter was black, brown or muslim would he be blaming video games??
The reason Trump, the GOP and white nationalists fear brown people so much is because Texas won't be a red state in a few years time and without the likes of Texas wining the presidential election becomes very difficult. Rather than going after brown people why don't they try winning them over to the GOP instead? Could it be that their racist white base won't tolerate it??

Indeed. This forum needs to have a hard look at itself in terms of the behaviour and things that are allowed to be posted as well, but the incels and right wingers on 8 chan are far more extreme than the sad ones here.

If you want to point the finger at what leads to these types of events one can argue yes trump has said careless things someone in his position really should not.
But the real place this stuff really grows is message boards that serve as an echo chamber of hatred. Always starts off there and people become more and more radical. The same thing happens with Islam. People are pulled into these environments and become radicalised.
You still have people that dont understand the difference between semi automatic and automatic. But better mental health assessment, more sensible control of guns, a media that doesnt whip people into a frenzy of extremism (both left and right), more civility in discourse... all of these are likely part of a solution.

The internet socialmedia certainly needs some registration/accountability and that in itself would help close down the crappy echo chambers of all types of ldiot groups. It's coming guys time to accept it.

If you want to reduce gun violence in the USA you are probably best seeking ways to reduce / restrict gun ownership by increments.
