Today's mass shooting in the US

Guns overtook car crashes to become the leading cause of death for US children and teenagers in 2020, new research shows.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that over 4,300 young Americans died of firearm-related injuries in 2020.

While suicides contributed to the toll, the data shows that homicides form the majority of gun-related deaths.

The strangest thing is that I saw a comment in a totally unrelated livestream either yesterday morning or on Friday about a terror attack in New York (I checked to see if it was happening, but couldn't find anything)... I suppose it's likely a coincidence but it's possible that it was mentioned on 4chan, a telegram or whatever beforehand.

Just saw theere was a retired police officer who was working security and attempted to stop the shooter, but got killed. Apparently the shooter was wearing body armour so the security guards hand gun didn't work before the shooter got him.
