The guy had been deported 5 times or something crazy like that, kept coming back in though as its the easier to get into the US illegally currently than it has been in a loooong time. Did it get more coverage than other shootings recently? Seems to have been memory holed pretty quickly compared to other shootings.

I believe the shooter had body armour on, but the guy who took him down was apparently an off duty cop.

How many mall or school killings has the murderer used a car? Car users are are licenced, have to pass safety checks and the user has to be insured. Now apply that to guns.

Where is a photo of this prison tattoo then? Was he ever in prison? You seem to have info but you've not posted any evidence of it.

You are desperate for him to be a gangbanger aren't you. I'm just posting what the Washington Post has literally just put up.

Also the whole thing about it being quite simple to get away from a car in many instances, and that the car isn't a threat to people who can stay more than a few inches away from it, say by getting behind a wall, or going into a building.

Guns being treated like cars would be a massive improvement on gun safety in America, given that some of the Republican politicians are trying to pass laws to allow anyone including criminals to just buy them retail and open carry by removing any requirement for any checks on the purchases.

Include a provision in the insurance for the gun that makes policy cover any and all medical or injury/death related costs and at least it'd remove the perverse thing where at the moment you can go bankrupt from being injured by some idiot with a gun.
