2.23 billion people actively use it. How can you generalise? I see all sorts of comments on there.

The users are not the problem, it's the company itself. Let's not pretend that facebook and the other big tech companies have certain political leanings full of people working for them with the same political leanings.

Is that the reason the likes of Twitter completely ignores the open nazi's unless you set your location to Germany? (where they have a very specific legal obligation).

I would suggest that most of the tech companes are probably more centre of the road, at least by American standards from 10-20 years ago (which would have put them to the right by much of the rest of the world), of course by the standards of some that makings them raging commie socialists.

No one is 'going after' Gab. It's simply that no sane business person wants to have their image tarnished by association with the dregs of society that inhabit it.

The nutjobs that use it are free to setup their own hosting infrastructure....after all there such huge demand and all the lleftie-liberal companies are getting woke and going broke or something.

Gab is toxic to any company that wants to stay in business, partly because far right racist scumbags are bad for business, but mainly because it's full of hate speech and calls to violence that are flat out illegal in many countries.

* USA: 4.62 homicides per capita

Nope I can't 2-3 maybe that might have a affect

That image is wrong anyway there has been at least one mass shooting ins Australia this year that I know off.

edit: Even saying that I would think it be much less than the USA

My post was merely to highlight that another country has voted for a Right wing President and he has a desire to make gun ownership much more freely accessible and wishes the police to be more Draconian in arresting criminals. So not everyone wishes for tighter gun control and a more pacifistic police force.
