Toilet monster!

Should have scooped them up and left them in the fridge with chopped tomatos on a plate and labelled it drunk food.

Someone in the house will take a nibble.

I'm glad you cleaned it :) I have a thing about messy bathrooms - my housemate refused to clean our bathroom for a bit (we've each got our own bit of house to clean) and we got slugs living on the wall. It was disgusting.

Everywhere else in the house is fine. (apart from the kitchen a lot of the time and the garden)

Ive been in houses where left over takeaway boxes of chicken had been left out for weeks in the front room and you literally cant get anywhere without stepping over rubbish. In our halls kitchen we left the bin bag in the kitchen for over a month and it was always hot in there. The bag started moving, so i lifted it and uncovered a moggot colony
Moggots!? :(

RIP Mushroom, yorkshire pudding things :( . Looks better but you really need to burn that pink loo. Now get scrubbing them bathroom tiles and shower ;)

revival time.

Notices another mushroom type thing growing in the corner in the toilet. I poured bleach on it and it seems to have stunted its growth!

In the bathroom in the corner where that 'star' monster was before there some strange looking black dots, maybe the start of a second star.

woooooo

If i were you i would pour bleach all over the place, leave it soak in fully then pour some disinfectant everywhere as well. Should kill most of the nasties.

I'd probably look at putting a de-humidifier in there or as leaving a window open to get fresh air circulating, as there is obviously bacteria infected moisture in the wood, causing the monsters to re-appear.

Once done, put a fresh lick of paint around the wood, sand it down then apply gloss paint for easy cleaning in the future and run some kind of sealant around the edges to stop **** getting into the woodwork through the gaps again.

Hes a student.
Do you really think he has the time, or can be actually bothered to do anything?

plus were moving out in july and we havent seen our landlord for about 4 months and that was a quick visit to collect money (and not to fix the shower, radiators etc)

I didn't dare go to Reading in the end, so no pictures from me. :(

I do have to go collect my router from there at some point though... ;)
