Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Revealed

Ranked also seems a hell of a lot better now, you actually get matched with people of similar rank.

I'm sure we can confuse that if we team up. You with the one shot one kill and me with the 100 shots 1 death :D.

I'll probably be on all day tomorrow I don't intended on sleeping so if anyone's around I'll be up for it.

Am finding it really hard to notice a difference between Very high textures and Ultra

Very high

Ultra

right i've had another 10-15 games and IMO it seems a lot more 'fluid' with respect to hitboxes/hitreg.

I still don't know whether its me having some sort of placebo effect or not but quite a few games last night were 'did that really happen' whereas most tonight were 'yep that was my stupid fault for peeking'

Really looking forward to what the rest of you guys see/play because it was more enjoyable for me tonight and I don't want that to be a placebo effect!

Had some good games last night, Think my highlight was dropping into a room behind 4 people, knifing one, shooting 2 others then having some epic dance with a guy with a shield while we tried to knife each other.....he won but still made me laugh.

My performance has taken quite a hit since the update, not changed any settings but it often drops to 30fps or lower, on the official forums looks like it's affecting a few people.

they are UHD textures... if you aren't using UHD then you probably won't see any difference, unless maybe you press your face up against something

They list the spec for other resolutions. 4gb for 1440p & 1080p and 6gb for 4k res.

Looking more closely at them it seems to only effect textures at a set range.

Honestly i have everything maxed out other than AA due to memory only being 4GB with the UHD Textures and can see no difference at 4k tbh. Was kind of disappointed. The game isnt' really that pretty, the textures are average and everything feels flat/bland. It doesn't help that the sounds effects they have used aren't particularly great either making things feel even more lifeless tbh.

Considering the map sizes and content in the game (lack of) they really dropped the ball on this personally.

The game is alright to play but am glad I only paid £28 for it.

Really enjoying this, i've got everything maxed out with fxaa (Is it me or does txaa look really really bad?) constant 60fps apart from some drops down to high 40s/low 50s while outside but inside i never drop below 60 fps

ultra texture pack is still downloading at the moment due to my crappy internet so i'll have to see if that makes a difference.

How does the game run generally? I game @ 1440p and have 2x 290x's overclocked. Does the game work with dual gpu's?

I run 2x 280x @ 2560x1600 and it seems to play fine with crossfire, nice and smooth.

Edit : when I first ran it it was glitchy as hell, updated to latest catalyst drivers and it all worked fine.

With my 980 Sli system and everything maxed (apart from AA which is TXAA or FXAA (can't remember)) at 4k with UHD Textures on I am getting all of 30fps.
