You can fast rope down but not up, think they've left that out to ensure the timing of rounds is balanced. There is ambient lighting, not sure what you mean by police zones and drones??
The hostage does react to things you do, fire a shot near him/her and see. No need for voice acting, it's a multiplayer game that if played correctly players would use their mics. Graphics are fine, but tbh a game like this doesn't need fancy graphics its all about the gameplay. If you download the UHD Textures it does look a lot better at 1440p.
I've done 187 hours on it since release, I love it.
You can fast rope of a roof but not from a helicopter onto a roof like it was shown you could do with gameplay.
And yes they react but it's all a little ridged compared to what was shown to be the AI reaction to the world around them.
Graphics never need to be fancy really but we always want more and they are certainly lack luster in this game for the map size and detail that they could have shown. I was playing at 4k with the UHD textures and it was an OK improvement to the weapons/hand models but really there wasn't much in it with the textures.
In the reveal gameplay it showed stuff such at the house it had police cars outside with search lights, helicopters over that added to the both the ambient and gameplay by meaning you might capture shadows of people as they moved outside or inside and you wouldn't be able to hear as much as at the moment apart from direct player movement sounds are very limited.
It would have kept the dynamic interesting for the maps that this suits. This was completely cut out and it just feels half done throughout.
There were also flying drones with cameras shown that we would be able to use similar to the RC car drones and these were just dropped for no apparent reason, again adding this to the game seemed to add another dynamic that has been ignored.
