Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Wait until you get the 4th level (the icey tanker) I love the intro for that mission but the graphics are just amazing, certainly one of the best games I've seen for a long time.
 
Question how strict is the "sneaky" aspect here?

is it like MGS you can kill people but you get a lower score, or org splinter cell and if you kill someone its game over? I dont mind sneaking about its fun but sometimes you just want to shoot people in the back of the head with a silenced pistol.

You get a "stealth rating" which is based on if you kill/if you are spotted etc, a few missions require you not to harm certain people but other missions killing is up to you.

Just been to the official site and the guy speaking for Sam Fisher doesnt sound like Ironside!?

Tell me he did the voice acting again...
 
Im definately picking this up...but the dilemma....should I wait a week until I get my 42" HDTV before I start playing it? :confused:

Yes. And pick up Pro Evo 6 whilst you're at it.

I find the graphical leap is definitely visable and I would 100% wait.

Thats what I keep telling myself...must wait.... didn't stop me cracking open TDU and Fight Night 3 last night and having a go though :D
 
Thinking of picking this up after work, brought PGR3 with me to maybe trade in, could anyone tell me how much PGR3 is on the gamestation site (can't access it at work) if its still £44.99+ then I might do it, if it's lower I doubt I will get much.

o man, then i got ripped off by GAME. they only gave me £18 and only then cos i put it on a gift card. damnit, and there was a gamestation nearby as well! :(

really? looks the same as pro evo 5 to me. so far i prefer 5 to 6 but i remember when i first played 5 i preferred 4 to 5. gonna stick at it. give me a few more hours and i will be back here saying pro evo 6 is the best game ever. :)

Do you mean visually looks the same ? no way if you say that i dont have the game yet as out 27th but i can see from videos its visually changed.

Its a big step up from Pro Evo 5 but if people played Winning Eleven 10 the one in between Jap version you wont notice much difference gameplay wise. :)

Thee AI defending tweaked aparrently what makes them close you down quicker stick it up to proffesional setting if you dont already. :)

All little touches like goalkeepers react better that your probably find barely noticeable but they are there.

Its not a big step up graphically but its certainly a step forward visually anyway although edit mode and other missing features dissapointed me never fault them since number 1.
 
Have any of you got the "Quick Save" and "Quick Retry" options in your in-game menu? I haven't and its annoying me, as a quick save option would be a good asset?

The reason I ask is cos it says it should be there according to the Manual? But I certainly don't have it there?
 
I ordered this from play-asia using paypal but 24 hours later and payment has not been confirmed by them. Is this normal? How long should it take?
