Tomb Raider performance

1080p Results.

Not sure where the 5.8fps came from, must be a bug i guess. Game felt very smooth. Now for 1440p.

1080p with Vsync triple buffered

The frame latency is much tighter but the game felt exactly the same so make of that what you will.

Same settings as Matt@1080p:

7950 CF@1100/1400

3FPS minimum must be a bug as it is not evident at all watching it play through.

Just about able to be maxed with 7950 CF at 1920*1080 with 60 FPS (although I play on a 120 Hz screen). SMAA 4x more than halves my FPS over FXAA.

MSAA won't apply for some reason on my end rusty.:(

Nice scores tommy yeah i had the single digits fps thing, must be a bug.

Must be a bug as there is zero stutter through the BM, very smooth too.:)

I only get crashes when I have TressFX on. Otherwise I'm getting near 60fps

Did you try the fixes on the first page?

im getting close to 60 average in 3d with everything on max except for TressFX which is off and using FXAA instead of SSAO

Don't know about you, but this is a showcase for 3D mate, simply jawdropping when you start taking control of Lara at the beginning.

Great isn't it. The hair looks messed up for me in 3D but no probs with normal. Is it the same for you or does it look good?

Just did a quick benchmark run on my 7950 at 1175/1500 on the Ultimate graphics preset at 1080p.

Also getting the minimum FPS bug, didnt get a single stutter during the benchmark though.

Jojoba and coconut greg, I can smell it when it flicks out the screen and brushes my cheek.:D

Took me totally by surprise, usually native 3D is just average in the few Iv'e played and normally relied on Tridef to spice it up, but it's very, very good(nothing to do with ze boobies and the peachy bum wriggling about when she bends over), hopefully the sign of things to come in regards to 3D.

Really have been taken aback by AMD's input with the Gaming Evolved titles, this really isn't like them tbph, I never expected it and only hope they keep it up.

It's great for PC gaming and it'll hopefully make Nvidia make a stronger push too, the more the better I say.:D
